I really liked this model of pistol. I've tried before to find a replacement for the vanilla 10mm pistol from the game, but I couldn't. This model, in my opinion, fits very well into the game and, most importantly, is somewhat reminiscent of the standard 10 mm follaut 3 pistol. Thanks to the author for his wonderful work. Like!
Absolutely love this thing man. I know a lot of people like to yammer on about it being a revolver in the old games but they couldn't be any more wrong. The description in-game for the Colt 6520 clearly iterates that it was a pistol, not a revolver. For example the 12 round magazine. Name a revolver that holds 12 rounds in a cylinder, people.
The design of the 6520 and the description for it never actually matched up. The 6520 is indeed a revolver, however its precursor the 6504 Autoloader looked virtually identical except for the fact that that it used a clip. In other words, what we have here is really the 6504 from Van Burren rather than the 6520 from Fallout 1 and 2. Good mod nonetheless though .
I'm not sure what everyone is on about. This is the in game description for the weapon: "A Colt 6520 10mm autoloading pistol. Each pull of the trigger will automatically reload the firearm until the magazine is empty. Single shot only, using the powerful 10mm round."
It was not a revolver. Just like the FO3 10mm, the Colt 6520 was an auto pistol with a 12 round magazine.
