About




This mod is very very lightweight and simple. It simply causes your rads to heal

slowly over a span of days to weeks like happens in real life instead of having to be
entirely reliant on "magic pills" from the doctors, or rad-away.

This is the only thing the mod does, leaving you free to combine the mod with
radiation changers and realism mods of your choice without compatibility issues, mods
that increase rad damage are highly recommended.

Usage




Nothing special is required. From the moment it is installed the effect will begin
working.

The rate at which you lose rads scales, faster at high doses and slower at low doses.

At the highest dose you'll lose around 250 rads in one game day, taking you from
lethal poisoning down to severe poisoning, but to get from 250 rads down to one rad
in this way would take the best part of an (in-game) week due to diminishing returns.

And that is all there is to it. I created this mod as I personally felt that rad-away
was immersion breakingly powerful, but the fact rads accumulate permanently in FO3
meant you HAD to use it or die when ironiclly radiation damage does not behave this
way even in the real world.

Installation



Place "RyusRadReduction.esp" into "Fallout 3/Data/" then enable it via FOMM or the
Fallout 3 frontend.




Uninstallation



Simply deactivate the .esp the same way you enabled it. Nothign special needs to be

done.
