Hi there. Do you know how to contact CrushOverwrite? I'd like to get permission to use his Protectron and Robobrain models in a mod for FO3.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hm just a thought but if you did try to do sounds for it you could always rip the sound from KOTOR1 or 2 (Knights of the old republic) i poked around in the dir structure a couple years back and am pretty sure their sound isnt packaged like FO3, so if someone wanted to do sound that could be a option as a resource, i would rip and post the sounds myself but i dont have kotor installed atm and can't find my disc either ><

but anywho just a thought if someone wanted to add sounds to these it could be a option for authentic sounds. (and who cares what lucas arts thinks of us using their sounds, if they want us to buy their games they had better start making them like oblivion and FO3!)

    just my 2 cents lol

you can, but I won't. I am not a ripper> there are hundreds of them and it takes zero skill to take other peoples work and put into a game. Its just boring and not challenging to me as an artist. + I have a zillion of my own assets to mod. If I have authors permission then I would consider using other peoples assets in my mods. It is not nice that people take your assets and use them without permission. I speak from experience.

I do inspect a lot of different game files, meshes/textures, etc, for educational purposes only. Anything I can get my hands on. You can learn a lot by looking at other artists work. And it gives a good idea at the current state of asset creation in todays games. I may end up working for lucas art or bethesda, might not look too good in the interview if I am a known ripper.

thanks. but I'm not into sound effect making. would probably take too long to learn the tools, then figure out how to create a authentic sound fot them. And to learn how to do all that for just a few sounds.....I can't spare the time.

anyway. next time I mess with a saber... particles.

Dude this is one Kickass weapon model. Loving the Purple/Pink tinge to the saber. Excellently done. You should add its own unique sounds instead of using either Ghoul's or the Cs Quest un. I Know!! Ill go find some then! <img class=">

    Cheers!
