Fallout 3

It was a long time coming. And with the growing anticipation of Fallout 4 release, more and more people are getting back to their 3D gaming roots and playing Fallout 3 for the first time, or again after a long absence. Over the years I accumulated many forms of fan art, fan media, and official Betheseda ads and commercials. As well as official artwork. There is a little something for everyone. First for the people who CAN'T WAIT FOR Fallout 4 the teaser trailer release of Simon and Garfunkel's Sound of Silence song made that whole late 60's , early 70's dark gloom harmony with a glimmer of hope music style lore friendly. All through the main file of music is the best of the best of that genre. There is also planned an entire main file of only this kind of music to add to the main file or as a standalone. Hopefully by the time you read this article it is available as Fallout 4 Late 60's Early 70's Mix. Also for the people who dislike or don't feel like more modern music, and need to stay pure to the Fallout 3 World War 2 era music, an entire optional file of Ragtime, Big Band and Swing file will be available for download to replace more modern songs in main file, or as a happy addition to the main file. Finally it is planned to add a Fallout 3 One Stop Shopping Super Mix, that has ALL Music available in one cozy little file that also has all the main vanilla music as a modder resource or for people who don't want to mess around with mods and listen to all their music on a separate mp3 player during game play.
As for the first main file available, you will have a mix of 100 songs , ads and fan made radio shows to fit snuggly in a maximum 100 GNR music mix mod, or any other Radio Mod you use. The favorites of mine were chosen for this first file, but of course taste varies and it is up to you to decide what to keep, and let go. And for all you lovers of art and ads, offered as a modder source, and/or personal viewing enjoyment, two download files holding various ads, artwork and wallpapers. Enjoy!

Additional Testimonials to help you decide.
1.From schaedelhoergler - " I' ve listened to some of the Fallout Foreign songs in brief and all I MUST say is this: EVERYONE who reads this and has a heart for 20' s - 50' s dl this one immediately, mix it with the songs included in the Ratime file and you WILL have a lorefriendly and enhanced game feeling like fighting the chinese while their "Motherland song" is playing :-D Some music history lessons come along as well ;-), e. g. I didn' t know till now that "Bei mir bist du schön" is originally a yiddish song!
Hope I didn' t bore ya and sorry for the long sentences, Germans love them :-D
Take care and keep up your good work"

"...Mad World and Sound of Silence may not have the same style as the others (again, for example) but they, combined with other songs to balance it out, have the same feel and emotion previously present in some of the songs. The Earth's sorrow, the people's mourning, the awful knowledge of the self inflicted wound is abundantly there and, if I was knowledgeable of such, I would do a remix of the songs to try to make it fit in during the time period around and after the 2nd World War without losing anything that would make the songs lose their message, I would. They (I believe anyway) are children of the cold war era which we have many references and anecdotes of in Fallout 3 (like one can ignore a 40 foot or so tall giant robot spouting hate towards communism and praising America/democracy; even if some one doesn't have the blatant enough Operation: Anchorage dlc) Hell, I simply view it as we still are in a cold war and people as a whole have just conveniently forgot about it just to stay sane. Honestly the people from WW2-Cold War did much the same at times (as opposed to all the time like it appears to be here in the US). Although there are genuinely uplifting songs, there are plenty of ironically happy songs about war and atomic power in one shape or another that are through out the culture, as opposed to the seeming complete ignorance of today...although I admit most of the ads from Bethesda are good, I just wish it didn't call into attention game play mechanics with out rationalizing it more (even with SCIENCE! would be fine, so long as I could stay immersed, though I do have high standards admittedly) *looks disappointingly at V.A.T.S. commercial and what it could have been if expanded just a bit more or given a different spin* or takes bits straight from the games dialogue *again looks disappointingly at another ad, the one with Butch demanding a sweet roll advertising the fat man* Meh, they can't all be perfect I guess, agree to disagree? ...So many issues brought up here, and better yet even good points. The easy one? Yes the commercials could have been better done. But I think the joke is in the 50's people were talked to like idiots who believe anything you tell them, and if you explained the PipBoy had a nuclear reactor that connected to your nervous system and directly into your brain causing time to slow down a bit as you made split second decisions, people would react horribly, so they used a sarcastic way to o happy way to explain it, like Bert the Turtle, lol. Keep in mind in those times people were generally ignorant, and did not have free information like we do today, so we can make educated and liberated decisions, and rebel against the system, which is seen to bloom in late 60's hippie movement music, which brings us to the point of my choice of music, and why I think this form of music is very very very in tune to the Fallout 4 release and why it is bleeding into Fallout 3 and New Vegas with my choice of music. It's true the music I chose are from Cold War survivors singing their point of view, in fact the band name of one of them is Cold War Kids. But instead of surviving the Cold War or being in it fearing nuclear fallout, in the game THEY ACTUALLY WENT THROUGH IT. SO what I say is this, ALL the 30's, 40's, 50's and early 60's music is pre-war. ALL the music after is made, in my mind, by the survivors over the course of 200 years after the war. Using various available technology, a few out of millions of people would be musicians who had access and know how to make tapes of their music and find a radio station to play it at, or found music someone else recorded. If you keep that in mind, suddenly all this "new" music makes a hell of a lot of sense. As for not feeling safe in your country, and how we are ignorant, you are correct, if more world leaders played Fallout video games they would probably be less inclined to push the button! So I agree with everything you are saying, I just ask you take consideration of my offering this non typical Fallout music as the aftermath of the children of atomic blast and fallout. Also keep in mind, the music with almost no singing and almost all computers or instrumentals, and VERY VERY HIGH QUALITY? Probably made by ghouls who have over 200 years of experience living and decided to go music (IN fact in AWOP or FOOK for FO:NV there is a ghoul DJ who does just that, and is DAMNED good too I might add)...Furthermore ONE VERY STRONG fact cannot be denied. Fallout 3 was the late Thirties to late 40'smusic. Fallout New Vegas was Fifties to early 60's. Wouldn't logic then dictate Fallout 4 could possibly go late sixties to early 70's? Hmmm...
But the good news is we are allowed to know THREE DOG IS RETURNING! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJzhkr-WY0Q
Fallout 4 may be about to happen, everybody. Voiceover artist and "modestly priced hooker" Erik Todd Dellums - better known as Fallout 3's radio host "ThreeDog" - has hinted that a Bethesda announcement is on the way.

"To all my #Fallout3 and #ThreeDog fans: There may be more of the Dog coming! Fingers crossed!" Dellums tweeted last night. "How was that for a tease!" he added. "I was given permission to release that tease, so fingers crossed."

Alas, ThreeDog was unable to share any further details, but he did retweet the following response: "I know you can't say but I can state the obvious.. either 3 Dog in the fallout sequel or 3 dog in Fallout Movie. #letTheRumorsFly"

One rumour from August last year suggests that Fallout 4 is set in Massachusetts, home of the Institute, androids and freedom fighters. Here's a little wishlist, care of Matt. What are you hoping for?

Remember children, Betheseda Generally release overhaul sequels about 30 months apart. And what is 30 months from October 2010? Fallout New Vegas release? April 2013, we are far overdue. So they will toy with us , cat and mouse style, but the fact remains by November we will have an official announcement one way or the other...Perhaps I am naive and try to look to the best in everyone, but I have similar knee-jerk reaction to plenty of other mods so I can sympathize. When I first downloaded these files I thought something along the lines of, "Well, this guy /says/ it is lore friendly, and by the description at least a good amount probably is, but even if it is just a waist of time game wise, I would still most likely listen to it on Itunes/Ipod instead of the game" Granted, I was pleasantly surprised when most of it fit perfectly while the remainder I was sold on to later by the reasons listed above...As for the international file, well, I only know English and some Japanese from Anime so yeah... I will at least listen to it for the educational experience as I have learned that most any culture can be brought to life in one's mind's eye by partaking in their arts "
