Amazing save editor. I booted this game up three days ago after a year or so of not playing it. I was surprised to see that FALCHE got taken down. I was skeptical about this editor for some reason, probably because I've been using Falche for a while, and was even more surprised to find out that this one is legitimately just an upgrade to it.
There is so much customization, and clearly, you put a lot of effort into it. Thank you for creating what will likely be the (or at least my) go-to save editor for the classic Fallout games in the 2020s.
Praise aside, I have a question about NPCs. I saw in the preview images that you could have any NPC as a companion, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do that myself with the editor. Do you have any directions?
Not exactly. This one was built by me from the ground up. FALCHE has a different creator.
any NPC as a companion
The NPCs that are meant to be companions for the Chosen one can be found in the PARTY.TXT file. To add them to your team, just follow the steps in the screenshot:
**I saw that Lynette was in your party in the preview image***
I was trying to do the same thing with a Boxer NPC, but couldn't figure out how. I'm aware that I can add companions with that feature u shown, but I'm wondering if it's possible to do so with NPCs that aren't normally available to you as companions. Thx 4 the reply!
You can take any NPC or container item with you. Just select it in the object tree and click "Join". BUT it should be understood that unlike the companions from the PARTY.TXT file, these NPCs do not have a script that will make them run after Chosen One, communicate with him, execute commands, share things, and so on. In most cases, such an NPC will simply follow the Сhosen from map to map and stand still.
In case of a fight, they will fight on the side of the Сhosen one.
Ahhh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up. I thought you somehow implemented a magical method of recruiting anyone as if they were an in-game companion lol.
anyways, I'm really putting your mod to work in my playthrough. Thanks again for ur work!
So I messed up and now I can't get into the Shark Club because I helped finding out who murdered Wrights son... Is there a way to set the Bishop family to neutral/no aggro or removing that I even did the quest to begin with?
Hey, I dont know if this is because of this mod but I thought I'd give it a try. I have a stimpak stuck in my 2nd equipment slot (weapon slot?) and it wont go away. Happened after I had edited stimpaks in the inventory and then saving. I didnt make any backup saves unfortunately... Can I somehow remove it or am I screwed?
EDIT: I figured out how to fix it for this specific instance. If it's a consumable thats stuck, change the amount to 1 and then use it. It cleared it up and I can now equip other things! Hope this helps some other guy out there one day.
To equip or disarm your armor, to pick up a gun (or holster it), use the corresponding button on the MAP tab. One click places the item in the slot, and a second click removes it.
Ive been trying to figure it out myself and searching but can't find the answer, so Im wondering how I access my character stats? I want to enable 1 hit shot but I cant find it anywhere. I dont see a "STATS" tab anywhere, maybe Im just blind but please help!

You can set any date you want.
Put the entire Editor folder into the Fallout game folder. It's that simple, right?
