- Although the V13 good ending was cut during development, some of its content remains in the game. Seraph restored the ending in his unofficial patch using an additional global variable, but this broke save compatibility with vanilla 1.02d. I reimplemented it without the need for a new global variable.
- It's recommended to use the mod before killing Dr. Schreber (and before the V13 slaughter event, of course). If you have already killed him but the slaughter hasn't triggered yet (i.e. within two weeks after fixing the V13 computer), re-entering Navarro will set the "Dr. Schreber is dead" flag to prevent the slaughter.
Installation:
- Extract the archive to your main game directory. If a mods_order.txt file already exists in your "mods" folder, add upu_v13_ge.dat to it and below the upu.dat line, like:
upu.dat
upu_v13_ge.dat
party_orders.dat
Uninstallation:
- Delete mods\upu_v13_ge.dat file and remove its name from mods_order.txt.
Notes:
- Technically, this mod can be used with older versions of UPU (with updating sfall to 4.4.x), but the magic 8-ball will stop working.
