New versions that use autohotkey, since it's free and I'm an idiot for not using it in the first place.

If you open the .exe in notepad and scroll down you can find the .ahk source code. Paste it into a text document, save as .ahk and use ahk2exe to compile it yourself like I did...
      SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir%
      Run, "FALLOUTW.EXE"

Open the file after you compile it and you'll see the same thing.

Can you be more descriptive with the Mod's installation procedure? I keep encountering this error that just says "The system cannot find the file specified. Line# ---> 002: Run, "Play Fallout Fixt.lnk" The current thread will exit." The installation guide is very unclear and has left me scratching my head.

BTW Fixt seems to be working OK on my Steam version of the game, what does this mod exactly do?

How do I install either the executable or the shotcut version?
I've dropped them into the Fallout folder to replace the original file with. But when I run the game through Steam it doesn't load the Fallout Fixt version and if I run the Fixt shortcut it doesn't launch through Steam.
Tried it both with the shortcut and the executable versions.

Use the shortcut version. Should say SFALL at the bottom right. (in the main menu)

Having the same problem for both versions. Is there anything I'm supposed to do besides drop the .exe into the Fallout folder? Both versions don't work in the same ways as previously stated.

Probably gotta use the old method with a bat2exe converter. Check the description.

EDIT: I've updated it perhaps for the last time, it should work now with a caveat.

Works great, thanks. Steam is so annoying with external mods, this makes it easier, cheers.

Still better than not working at all. You also can't use the overlay on steam anyways.

I don't know if I installed Fallout Fixt wrong or what, but I want to add to DeathWrench's aside about using SLEA for anyone who might be in my situation. In my case at least, the launcher and the SLEA weren't even pointing to the right executable because the ones I actually needed were in a subfolder "Fallout/Fallout Fixt".

I have zero idea how to make it point to the right executable, the right "FALLOUTW.EXE" in this case. Despair, woe is me. Well, Fallout Fixt (Again, at least in my case) puts a shortcut literally named "Play Fallout Fixt" in the directory which DOES point to the right executable. So, figuring I had nothing to lose by trying, I put "Play Fallout Fixt.lnk" (without the quotes) in the slea.ini in place of "FALLOUTW.EXE" or Morrowind, and that seems to solve that problem if a bit inelegantly.

Yeah, only the Shortcurt Launcher seems to work pointing to the right executable.
