This mod is for testing and feedback purposes.

As Legendary Heroes is still in beta, this mod is an opportunity to give Stardock feedback regarding tactical gameplay. In my opinion, battles don't feel epic. Whoever goes first wins (usually the player with well designed units). Battles last, at most, three turns and the use of most tactical spells is a waste of time and mana. This mod, in effect, makes battle two to three times longer. Heroes and their abilities become useful, archers get fire for more than one turn, and all those tactical spells you never used you'll find yourself using.

Current FE:LH version: 0.80

This mod specifically reduces weapon damage for all (assuming I didn't miss anything) weaponry accessible to units. Faction weaponry has also been given more character and some magical weapons have tweaked. Almost all unique and hero-accessible weaponry has remained untouched. The following changes were made:

* Late game weaponry has been reduced, on average, to about half its original value. Mid game weaponry falls in between early and late game values. Example: Spear damage 5, Boar Spear damage 6, Pike damage 8.

* Magical weaponry now gives a magical damage bonus per level. Example: The Ice Spear is damage 5 with +1 cold damage per level.

* Racial weaponry has been given a bonus per level instead of a set bonus. Example: The Blessed Hammer now gives +1 attack versus undead per level.

* Crossbows have been given 25% armor penetration.

* Within Assassin's Tools, the Skath Claw(s) has been changed to a pair of sabres with the maul ability and the Scimitar now cleaves. Damage values were also reduced.

* Within Archers, all bows have been given armor penetration alongside the Ram's Horn Longbow.

* Within Wanderlust, the Fending Blades are now dual short swords which gives a dodge bonus per level and the Athican Longsword is now a greatsword which does spash damage. Damage values were also reduced.

* Within Axe Mastery, all axes have had their damage reduced. Fire axes give +1 fire damage per level.

* Within Great Hammers, damage has been reduced for all hammers, but all hammers do +1 attack per level (for now).

Thoughts, opinions, and feedback are welcome and appreciated.
