Fable: Aeon Edition

What is TotC?
Trials of the Conqueror is essentially heroic mode/hard mode/critical mode for Fable: Aeon Edition. While Aeon Edition has some difficulty on its own, a lot of this difficulty goes away after you get through early-game. It only then seems to come back again after beating Dragon Jack and facing the endgame "super-encounters". TotC aims to make the whole game significantly harder, without resorting to artificially raising the difficulty with bullshit like "every enemy has 1 trillion HP and there's 100 of them in a room" or "you have enough Will Energy to cast one spell and that's your lot". Enemy spawns will increase and, in some cases, feature tougher enemies earlier in the game, but enemy HP won't be touched.
Come and pass the Trials of the Conqueror, if you think you're hard enough.

Installation Guide:
1) INSTALL FABLE: AEON EDITION FIRST!!! (Including any update files/fixes)

2) Copy the CompiledDefs folder to X:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fable The Lost Chapters\data (or wherever your data folder is)
3) Overwrite files when asked
4) Start a new game! This is NOT optional, even if you're in the middle of an Aeon Edition save!

Difficulty Changes
- The amount of Resurrection Phials you can hold has been reduced to 1, from 3
- The amount of Health and Will Potions you can hold has been reduced to 20. It was previously unlimited
- Adrenaline Potions only last for 20 seconds instead of 30. Conqueror's Vials are unchanged
- Ages of X Potions have been slightly nerfed, giving 200 x N experience instead of 250 x N experience
- The later levels of Health and Magic Power have been nerfed. The maximum possible Health and Will you can obtain is still the same as in Aeon Edition, so eat every stat boosting pie you can find!
- The cost of some experience upgrades have been increased. Physical Shield is now a lot more expensive
- Scripted Shopkeepers (ones with custom stock) will charge you more and will give you less money for things
- Some Traders will now give you less money for things
- Some enemy spawns have been made harder
- Some enemies will detect you from further away, AND chase you for longer before giving up
- Enemies are now less likely to drop Health or Will Potions
- The Darkwood Demon Door has been made slightly harder
- The Demon Door Minibosses do more damage
- Henchmen are more expensive
- Physique has been nerfed - instead of dealing 2x base damage at Level 7, you'll only deal 1.85x damage
- Toughness has been nerfed - instead of resisting 40% of damage at Level 7, you'll only resist 35%. Armour values are unchanged
- Being naked makes you take even more damage. Covering your body is now a lot more important, even if it's only with weak/mismatching armour!
