Well, this is cool, except launching the game this way means I can't use Steam features, and I was using Steam to map controls and make the game playable on controller. I tried to go back to just launching it from Steam but now the one change I made with this program prevents the game from launching from Steam. Not blaming anyone, just frustrating--all I did was download the mod to eliminate the constant camera wobble but now I can barely play it.
hello, i fixed my game file path in the config txt but still get the :Object reference not set to an instance or object." error. I have the steam version. ny ideas are welcome.
It is simple to install. Extract the .zip, open the Config.xml file in Notepad. Once in the file, go to the <InstallDirectory> line where it is just about editing the line and just copying and pasting:
<InstallDirectory>C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fable The Lost Chapters\</InstallDirectory>
Its just leading the Fable Explorer to where the .exe file of the game is. Thank you Youtube Comments :)! Hope it helps for anyone new to modding the game. Wish it was explicitly stated in the descritpion of the mod, but thank you TelShadow for uploading a Steam compatible Fable Explorer!
i have a custom install path for my fable, but your comment gave me the info I needed to put in the correct install path for me. so thanks for that. :)
