Introduction:

Hello and welcome to Undead Must Die!

This is a total conversion mod for the PC version of Fable: The Lost Chapters that tries to add an undead horde mode into the game, which is heavily inspired by the Action/Strategy game series known as "Orcs Must Die!" by Robot Entertainment.

What is changed?

"Never mind Jack of Blades and the Sword of Aeons, Albion has an even larger problem. The hordes of Undead Soldiers have risen!"

In order to create this mod, I had to disable the game's questflow system and then edit the User.INI file so that it spawns you inside of the Heroes Guild. Whilst inside of the Guild, explore the facility to find various items and weapons that you can use on your journey. The Starter Pack that contains all of your essentials can be found upstairs in Whisper and the Hero of Oakvale's Dorm Room. Bare in mind that the Heroes' Guild is now the only safe haven in all of Albion, so try your best to use the shops and experience podium to your advantage.

When you feel like you are prepared for the challenge, head to Maze's Quarters and you'll find various Teleporters that will take you to a new region. Each one is labelled based on their difficulty. Those who want a more streamlined experience should start with "Level 1 - Guild Woods" and then make their way up.

Each map is filled with Undead Enemies and various Traps. Go through each level, defeating the hordes of undead in whatever way you see fit. Once you're done with a level, simply return to the Heroes Guild, level yourself up and then move onto the next level. The maps have traps placed to help soften the horde and make the challenge easier for you, just remember that enemies killed by traps earn you no experience - unless you manage to hurt them first. There's still more levels and balancing that needs doing, but so far you are able to play up to 12 levels!
