I believe you meant "Archon's Armour"?

Archon's Armour is the white set that you can find in the base game.

Aeon's Armour is a new black set made by re-texturing Archon's Armour, that comes with one of the DLCs.

Oooh, I see. Didn't buy the gear DLCs (seemed pointless to me), so never knew there was another such set.

The DLCs are disappointingly lazy work. I honestly think they were done by an unpaid intern.

I honestly would not recommend paying for them, and not just because all they had to do is make a texture swap and they could not even do that right, and not just because they could not bother to fix it later via update, and not just because to call them "content" is like calling the hole in a doughnut a part of the doughnut.

As far as I know you can't.

Maybe this is a stupid question with a very obvious answer and if so I apologize, but I installed this and it's only working for my boots, not the gloves. I installed the main file for just a vanilla playthrough. Can someone tell me how to fix it?

Installing mods for Fable is a hassle so I don't blame you if you have issues.

      Anyway, you can try this:

In the editor "Content Browser" -window, go to the left lower corner section to the "Packages", and search for: "Black_Battle_Armor_Full_outfit", then right click on it, and select "Fully Load".

Then on the "Object Type" panel, tick the "Textures" -box (instead of the "All (50 Types)" -box), so it only shows textures.

Now try to search and replace the textures.

I'm a total derp, sorry for wasting your time. I accidently skipped the second step, the overwriting the files in the main game folder part. I thought I did it because the boots had worked and looked awesome but after making sure I did it this time it's all fixed and the whole suit looks glorious. Thanks very much for this mod.

On a side note is there a guide somewhere that explains how to merge mods like you did with your optional patches for this one? I have a few little mods I'd like to add in but they all edit the game.bin files.

I'm afraid not to my knowledge.

The combinations that I've done, are all done manually using Fable Explorer.

It's so good to see mods for Anniversary! It seems like modding this game isn't too easy as lots of projects kind of just die. Thanks for the set of mods, they all look great!

      Thanks! ^.^

The modding part isn't too bad.

Installing the mods however is a bit... arduous, because it requires the usage of the editor.

That and, anything beyond just cosmetic changes requires modifying the game.bin and gamehard.bin, which means, you'll have to manually combine the changes, if you want to use more than one .bin -type mod at a time (which why I uploaded so many versions of mods I thought people might want). 😅

I'm honestly surprised anyone has even bothered to download these (as in my mods) because of the involved installation process, so, props to all you people! 👍

Probably a bunch of Skyrim players, lol. That's only just become simpler to mod - only took 12 years!

The fact that you'd do that is really awesome! I already downloaded one of the Redux versions of your mods, so it's helpful!!

Yeah, there might just be a bit of a demand that nobody has picked up on. Sucks because we have this "modding DLC" but no mods...
Well, that and the UI in Anniversary is just...wow.

      Again, thank you so much!

    Thanks for this mod!
There is a simpler alternative way to change textures:
    TFC Installer for UE3
    UPK Explorer for UE3

Thanks for taking your time giving a tip, though I already have both above mentioned tools. 👍

I was actually just going to upload a modified version of the "Black_Battle_Armor_Full_outfit.upk", but, it does not include anything but *copies* of the glove, boots and the "full outfit view" -textures, and replacing those does not affect the actual game because... they aren't actually used? I also tried to insert them into the "HERO_Suit_PLATINUM.upk", but that does nothing either.

Also I don't fully understand how the game sources its textures. As in, most paths point towards WeGameMain.upk, but replacing textures there, again, does not affect the game, unless I launch it with the MODDED -option, and I can't find any other source for the textures. I'm pretty sure that the WeGameMain.upk ONLY exists for the "Modding DLC".

If you know more regarding this issue, I'd appreciate sharing them.

But to comment what you were actually saying... I used the DLC Editor for the instructions, because I believe you still need to run it, in order to generate the "WeGameMain.upk".
