Hello, I'm still alive. Somehow. Anyways, Last update was probably a decade ago (feels like it) and Nexus recently reminded me that I do modding, so here's a quick update on things.
Project is still active, but very slow. I haven't really touched things other than the Hero as of now, I'm trying to fix eye and teeth morphing by creating new materials and assigning them using references like the Hero skin and such.
That and I get sidetracked a lot when opening the editor, I already started another project, and it's close to completion. Basically new Hero meshes.
Since I moved out and switched computers, all of my files are pretty disorganized, hence why the unfinished Child hero made it's awful debut in the latest update, so sorry about that, for those concerned it's a pretty old model I made, so don't worry the actual child hero would look better (I hope) also with Hair physics restored.
Also forget release date, it was totally not happening in 2023, I'm not gonna disclose any release date further on since life is just so unpredictable and a lot, a loooot of things happened in such short notice. Surprised I'm still standing even.
For those who follows my updates on Youtube (Coriantum Pacumeni on yt, check it out plz, you'll definitely regret it) I mentioned that I would learn Apex Physics tool to create more hair and physics assets... Well turns out the Apex tool they used is pretty much a modified unreleased and old program, anything else just corrupts the file. Again. Sorry!
I had massive plans for this project, and a lot just ended up dead due to Engine limitation. So no Co-op, new levels, new Enemies and Items. For now I guess... And I don't wanna be Peter Molyneux V.2 by promising things I can't do. Sorry again...
I don't wanna end this with just bad stuff so, here's a few things I've been doing...
Fix beard opacity, New materials for Hero, Custom stuff I made for myself but don't mind releasing. Fortnite dances. Idk what I'm doing with my life.
Anyways, expect a Youtube video release featuring all of things said above, and maybe sneak peeks of other said projects
Q:Why is the mod not on the Steam workshop? A:Tried it at first, doesn't work. The mod changes a lot of things and workshop only allows to upload 1 package at a time. Meaning I'd have to release multiple mods, secondly, workshop does not install mods properly, can end up corrupting the game. Sadly I can't do anything about it except post the link of this page on a workshop and Steam doesn't like links, so I'll leave it at that.
Q:Game not working\Bugs\Pirated Copy A:The mod is made using the "Mods DLC" only exclusive on Steam, Owning a copy from another media or piracy can't be dealt with. I have no Idea where to begin modding without the DLC and don't really plan to. *Due to increased texture resolution and new meshes, the Main Menu can bug out and increased loading times and stuttering for those who has less memory available*
Q:Is the mod still being worked on? A:At this moment I've put it on hold due to personal reasons. Working on this mod took almost a year to get to this state due to lack of resources and information on the Modding tools. I make the models, textures and animation edits myself. Currently I'm working on other projects and some includes Fable In short: The Mod is Not Dead. I will release updates when it's ready.
Q:Mod is Ugly A:If I receive comments like this I will delete it, unless it specifies the problems and is constructive. Other wise, your mom is ugly.
Q:Can you add\fix\restore... A:No. Anything that is not related to the original Fable won't be added. The plan is to restore and fix the problems Anniversary had. If it's something related to the original Fable it's already planned. Here's an example: Eye Squinting, Eye morphing, Facial morphing. I am trying all I can to fix these things. Another thing, someone mentioned the seams in Hero's body, Anniversary has every limb detached to make the morphing, I am looking for a solution to this problem. In short: No new added content.

Thank you for this mod! This is exactly what I was expecting for the remaster, I don't know why Microsoft did this ugly overhaul because it looks like a more uncanny version of the original which probably was something hard to pull off, no wonder why Lionhead ended up dead on the side of the road, they made very bad creative choices, that's why I'm skeptical about the upcoming reboot of the franchise now that they're gone, the female hero of the trailer was uglier than a beta version of a human exposed in a museum but that's a problem to fix for the modders of the future, for now I gonna kick sum chickn' in the chickn' kickn' competition.
I'm curious, have you figured out how to add new sets/assets? I know this is not the scope of your mod, but I've got experience with rigging and weight painting etc and made a few custom outfits/ made NPC armour usable for the Hero.
These seem very good, I am trying to figure out how to add items, also to include them in the stores but nothing the modding tools given to us can do unfortunately, I can definitely replace armor with these though. If you want you could replace the jokes outfit no one loves with these, I wouldn't mind, I mean no one is gonna miss the wasp outfit for sure!

Love the mod! I've tried dragging and dropping the mod into the Wellingtongame folder, but whenever I load the game no changes are made to my character. I've tried using the Weaver version as well but no luck. Is there something I'm missing? I also have the mod DLC downloaded on Steam.
This mod looks very good! I always thought how the OG Lost Chapter models look with Anniversary's lighting and I got my answer for the Hero's model. I hope you expand on this and replace all the other humanoid characters.
