i downloaded the mod, but when i booted up and used the bound keys nothing happened, i downloaded and extracted using 7zip, and then i replaced the 2 default files in the config folder. do you have any ideas of what i did wrong? do i need to start a new game? Edit: just started a new game, isn't working at all.
i figured out the solution, i had to do a complete reinstall of the game, which included going into the steamapps file and erasing the evil genius folder
After bootet up the game i found that in EvilGenius/DynamicResources/Config > there is a file named "Current.ksb" < you need to copy and paste that stuff in. (Because the game uses the current.ksb instead of the default.ksb probalby happens wenn you rebinded keys) Then it will work
Yes, you have to paste into the current.ksb as well as default.ksb if using modded files Also it seems to work better if editing manually, the contents are pasted in the SAME LOCATION after the QuickLoad:F8 in the current.ksb and Default.ksb files (else if the lines were pasted on the end it was not working for me).
This may be because other lines in the file share the same bindings : RestoreView1:1 RestoreView2:2 RestoreView3:3 RestoreView4:4
Also one can edit the speeds to suit playstyle like a halfspeed at .5
First thing I noticed (in the debug as well) if gamespeeds are altered, the sounds are slower or faster as well.
