    the .txt files you need to modify are in an .erb file in the folder \\Evil Genius\ResourcePAK

    specifically LResource_en_UK or LResource_es_ES, depending on the language you use.

    unpacking the erb, the files should be in the unpacked folder.(i.e. - \\Evil Genius\ResourcePAK\LResource_en-UK)

    after that place the modded files into the \\Evil Genius\DynamicResources\Custom

    Those .text files you are mentioning does not exist at all in the game installation.

    Can you be more specific? Can you give more details?

    I have the game on Steam and there is no files at all with .text in this game installation folder. I went through all folders.

      Here is my guess on how to get it to work.

      1. On Ratchet's website you will find an extract of the game data.
      https://ratchet302.gitlab.io/content/games/e/evil-genius/modding/index.html#modding-resources
      Click the link where it says "Download the Game Data Archive."
      That will have the files you want in it. For Acid Corpse Room just copy the files that the Readme of Acid Corpse Room asks for.

      2. Then you can put them anywhere in DynamicResources folder OR subfolder (you might want to use the custom folder that the Acid Corpse Room mod wants to be put in - try to keep it neat and organised because if you have two mod files in DynamicResources with the same name, only one will work).

      3. The readme says that you ADD the lines to those existing files, so copy them from the text files into the corresponding NEW files you made.

      4. Put all the other files from Acid Corpse Room mod into the DynamicResources folder somewhere (probably the same place as the previous stuff).

      It might work. I didn't test,

      Bumping this because there is still no indication where these .txt files should go.
      If there is another mod that is required then it should state so and not be so ambiguous.

    seems like its bugged on my end so once i got the room and tried building it, it doesnt just workers getting the explosives over and over again one thing i have tried is the build instant cheat just to see if it fixes it still doing the same thing made a really small room from the outside shack for it still doing the same thing and cant seem to cancel the room

    Can't extract anything, it gives me an "Can not open file as an archive" error. shame cause it looks like a super useful mod.


    Have you tried re-downloading it? It DID work for me, except for the text files

    Directions aren't that clear about what exactly to do with the txt files, kinda confused about that

    Very Unique mod! I like the idea! Perhaps add an optional file that adds a unique rack that has an AOE that very slowly affects health and/or endurance. That would be very thematic!
