I'll be blunt, this mod was sloppy and ultimately disappointing. Here are some of the issues:
    * You claim to have redesigned Caine's minions into mafia thugs, but they look like they always do.
    * You claim to have given the Henchmen new voices, but in reality you just shuffled the old voices around.
    * Fails to remove the unbuildable rock, which every other overhaul mod had the common sense to do.
    * All the minions wearing black and white makes them hard to tell apart, which is frustrating when trying to do Acts of Infamy.

    * I could forgive all of the above, but the big dealbreaker was when I quit after a whole night of playing and returned the next morning to find all the saves were corrupted.

Thanks for being blunt. Honestly is always appreciated. There definitely are some bugs I've seen since downloading this and looking through myself. For example, Agent 52 is simply missing his third weapon in his DESC. Unfortunately, I was 12 when I made these and have not made revisions to these specific files. I do plan on releasing a complete version that included the best of this (which is almost nothing), but fixes the nuisances like Caine's thugs, which is caused by the DESC missing completely, and more stuff.

Also, just because " every other overhaul mod had the common sense to do" does not mean mine has to, I never had an issue with unminable rock thus never chose to make any changes and never claimed to. That's like ordering a pizza and then getting pissed it didn't come with a drink despite it not saying anywhere that it would. Also, corrupted files is an issue on your end, not my mod(s). I've never had a corrupted save file in EG despite the bugs I created during my testing and implementing mods.

Lastly, put stuff like that in the bug section. That's what it's there for man...or woman, no hate.

there's a readme in the download that has instructions on it. Just find your games folder in steam and drag the folders in the download into your evil genius folder. Replace when asked.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm just a dummy and have done something.......

....but the A.I Super computer in the laboratory is kinda not there, doesn't show up in the build menu, not prompt to get it.
I haven't exactly played this for a long time but I remember it just being there as soon as you get to Island 2.

Anyway, Amazing mod! completely refreshes the entire game, Its bringing back a lot of nostalgia for me!

    Good job mate!

It wouldn't be a bug on my end; not sure what would cause that Buuuuuutttttt, I do believe you have to steal the A.I. Super Computer or build it after completing a specific science related objective

    I've had an odd bug.

I played for a few hours yesterday (with this mod), everything worked fine including cheats.

I've loaded up my game today and the cheats don;t work anymore (still typed in HUMANZEE and got the completed message)

Any suggestions as to how to fix this? I got too used to the speedup cheat.

    My only complaints are:
sometimes the game glitches to where interrogations can never happen, they get halfway to the chair and then escape into a run. They are then recaptured.
Modded henchmen keep their old moves. like Firefly still has motherly love and electroshock from the matron.
Red Ivan can 1 shot every super agent and mow down soldiers without breaking a sweat.
And agent 52 is useless, at range he dodge-rolls to much to actually throw a ninja star! and in hand to hand, he does the same thing just sits there "dodging" which does nothing and rarely attacking.
And deadeye is even worse, with his ranged attack doing nothing and his melee not being good enough to counter his range.

Aside from my complaints, everything about this mod is Sick!

Quick heads up. you accidentally packed your own unique desktop.ini file into the archive, which includes your windows username in the second line.
It may be a privacy concern in the future, never know what exploits may pop up in the future that take advantage of that information, I recommend you remove the file from the archive and reupload. Just a friendly heads-up.

Thanks for the heads up; probably could have IMed that though if security was a concern.
Luckily, I've long since stopped using that profile altogether but removed it anyway.

I've been using your mod for a few days and it's filled to the brim with glitches that have no reason to be there.

    - Social minions ignore the weaken tag
    - Cameras work 1/10th of the time
    - Enemies attack everything pretty much constantly
    - Heat goes FUCKING CRAZY for no reason , i had no qualms with smash and they started sending me waves upon waves of soldiers

Can't even get to see the new henchmen because my base gets overrun within a few hours of starting a new game.

Those glitches I've yet to encounter. I've ran the same host of mods on three computers throughout 7+ playthoughs but as my description states, these were never intended for release.

I haven't played this in a long time and am happy that I found this mod to change up the game. So far I really like the cosmetic changes and seeing the base full of minions is pretty nice.

In any case, I wanted to ask you if the mods are balanced to consider Hard difficulty. It feels like my military minions lose fights against soldiers almost too easily even when armed with guns. I also checked the health of a Guard vs a Merc and they both have 40 even though I see your spreadsheets say something else.

Also, I remember checking Adam Steele and he had 72 max HP compared to the 108 that shows in your screenshots for this mod.

Now that I re-loaded the game it looks like some other stats for minions and my henchmen were changed back to original values, such as Firefly having The Matron's stats and skills. What should I do to fix all this?

      Hey Rhuzen,

Hmm, I've not run into this before. The only thing I can really recommend is to make sure all the files are in their appropriate place and starting a new game often helps. If I can assist in any other way, let me know.

As far as balancing for difficulty, it has not been tested for other difficulties. I had never intended to release this so a lot of it was simply tailored to suit my needs.

I see, thanks for replying. I fixed a few stats and the skill switching by re-overwriting the files with a fresh copy of your mod collection.

While the numbers you had intended does not appear to be correct (in hard difficulty) for the minion/henchmen stats their weapon damage and all other animation/cosmetic stuff still works it seems. I love the changes you've made to the henchmen btw, I had thought I made a "smart" choice by taking Firefly as my 2nd Henchman instead of Red Ivan, but that turned out to be both hilarious and exasperating.

For others who might read this, Hard difficulty with this mod collection is indeed possible, however the Soldiers/Veterans of various "Skill" (ie Pathetic up to Exceptional) will likely kick the asses of any minion you throw at them that is not at least an armed Mercenary.

That is to say, in the early part of Island One a group of 6 Pathetic Soldiers were able to take down around 20 of my rifle-armed Guards (partly because they arrived at the fight seperately) Those same 6 killed nearly all my valets/guards in one point before I had to reload and try to get my minions to arrive mostly together. BTW don't forget to make your Henchmen use their "Gather minions" skill as this also helps you bring minions to where you want them to go.

Mercenary/Gaurds will have a relatively hard fight against Soldiers/Veterans but once you start rolling out the Marksmen and M.A.'s as well as the sheer number of minions you could have, fighting gets a lot more manageable.

One last note, and I both like this point and find it frustrating: The modded Super Agents in hard difficulty essentially function like armored vehicles when assaulted by ANY of your minions/henchmen. Damage to their stats tends to be between 1-4 pts with perhaps an exception of some weak-point stats, such as Smarts for MM.
