Think the ego option for the latest release is ever coming out? Or would you at least unarchive the previous version?

Hello. Along with this mod, I am using the "Enderal Armor and Weapon Overhaul" mod. There is a bug in it where Kalia's tattoo disappears. When I apply the tattoo fix for Kalia, it overwrites this mod and her hair disappears. If I don't overwrite it, she remains beautiful but without the tattoo :D Is there a way to fix everything and keep this mod?

For anyone struggling with black faces, make sure to get the SE (not AE) version of Face Discoloration Fix. It's in the old files, labeled 1.5.39–1.5.97.

Additionally: if Jasper has black hair in your game, make sure to load DK's after EGO (and probably all other mods).

Do you no longer provide an EGO version?

I noticed a very weird issue. It seems that every NPC this mod modifies defaults to the introduction "shackled" (y'know, when you first start in normal skyrim and are a prisoner for a few moments) walking animation when they are out and about in the world. Talking to them, or them performing idles / sitting and all temprorarily breaks it but their slow walk is always the shackled prisoner animation.

I have no idea how that would happen, especially since I haven't touched AI packages, animations, or anything like that. I've simply copied them over from the Enderals plugins

Hello. I noticed the same thing, but only with one NPC Jespar. I have EVG Conditional Fields installed, and disabling the modesty feature in its settings fixed this. Apparently the mod thinks that the NPC is naked.

I did notice a problem with Jespar and EVG Conditional. I would have to assume there is some compatibility issue with DAR mods and Enderal

From what I understand, that's a vanilla Enderal issue because a lot of the clothing/armor don't have the proper keywords that DAR needs to correctly interpret what animation should be used.

First of all, fantastic mod. I love that the NPCs' makeover are not straying from vanilla.

But I have a question about Calia. Is it intentional that she has no tattoo anymore, or did I made a mistake in the mod installation?

Thanks, I'm glad you like it

It wasn't intentional, I just forgot to reapply it. If I remember correctly, she has a custom skin with the tattoo already applied in the original Enderal files. The missing tattoo is on me, I'll fix it eventually

Absolutely love the mod! just wondering how i select Calia option 2 in the current version, should i remove one of calia's records like you said in a previous comment or something else?

The only way to do that is to remove all records other than Calias from the old option 2 plugin and rename it to something else so that you can have the full mod and the different version of Calia. Please keep in mind though that I am not offering much support for old versions at this time

      Hi,
I really wish I could help but I'm not quite sure why he would be bald other than maybe load order :/

hi! i use ks haidos hdt smp version, but the npcs have default hair, and not from this mod. any workaround so that i don't have to install non smp ks hairdos for this mod to work properly??

Hi, while you can use the hdt version of KS Hairdos with this mod, it is still a requirement to have the original KS Hairdos installed in order for this mod to function correctly. The HDT version does not yet cover all hair that is included in the original mod

    IMPORTANT NOTICE 3/15/2023
I actually had time to fix this up AND play-test it before publishing the latest version. I haven't come across any bugs, but let me know if you find any!

Reminder that Improved Eyes is no longer needed :)
Still no EGO version or options for Calia for the time being; hopefully, I'll get to it soon

I have noticed NPCs wearing very different hairstyles now that I'm using the updated version. If I'm not mistaken, it appears to be the vanilla hairs. SSE Edit seems to confirm this. KS hairdos seem to be gone from NPCs in this new update, vanilla hair is what remains.
This next part isn't a bug, not really, however an important note of caution. Since the newly updated version touches on the children NPCS, you will get brown face bugs on Child NPCs if you're using any children overhaul in Enderal.

-Also wanted to add, I have noticed a few 'Error could not be resolved.' messages in even your older NPC overhaul. It seems to always be in the head part section. I have noticed this on Liliath and Finn the apothecarius. I just wanted to mention this in case it had something to do with any issues.

With this update, I left most generic NPCs with vanilla hair with a "Keep It Simple Stupid" policy to ensure I didn't muck anything up this time around. I'll be going back to them at a later date to give some of them nicer hair. I double-checked the 1.9 plugin in xedit and the creation kit and came across no errors and no edits to children NPCs. If you happen to know which specific child NPCs you are having problems with, I can check them specifically

Oh okay! One of the children I have seen issues with on this version is Mimi Gundraf, I didn't see her name come up in sse edit but MO2 is detecting 24 conflicts with this version and Kids of Enderal.
Specifically, 0001E8A1.dds, 0002AA20.dds, 000228E9.dds... I could list them all off but unfortunately, it's not letting me copy and paste the troublemakers. They're all .dds files though. I can always delete those files I think so Kids of Enderal have no conflict but I thought it would be worth mentioning.

Either way, I love your mod! I'm trying to learn how to create some NPC overhauls myself and It's not easy. Thank you for putting in such great work & sharing with all of us! You're awesome! :)

Well, I downloaded kids of enderal and after checking all conflicting dds files, I can say that they likely should be removed. I'm not sure why they have been generated, considering I have never edited a child NPC, but the creation kit is always doing something funny

I'm glad you enjoy my mod, and I hope it continues to make you and others happy :)
