   From the screenshots it looks like the mod don't do nothing the before and after screenshots look the same not clearer or foggier.

      as stated in the description, it's a subtle change ... it is very noticeable in-game.

   can I install this normally with Vortex or do I have to install it manually

      sorry for the late response, I don't use Vortex or any other mod manager these days, it may work with Vortex but I didn't set it up specifically for it.

      It does work just fine with vortex as it has a plugin available to manage Enderal Special Edition. So you can enable the Mod Manager Download button.
