For some reason this doesn't seem to work for me.I already had "Backported Extended ESL Support" and SPID installed and the other mods that I have that require them work just fine.I installed this mod through MO2 ,have it loaded after Common Clothing Expansion and overwrite its files but even after starting a new game nobody seems to wear the new outfits.I am using the steam version of Enderal.
SPID writes a log file of all the distributions it does to "po3_SpellPerkItemDistributor.log" in your \Documents\my games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE folder.
I would first check to see if the log file is there to confirm SPID is running - since it requires Address Library for SKSE Plugins and po3's Tweaks to work.
If it is indeed there - open the log file and search for "CommonClothesEnderal_DISTR.ini" to confirm that it finds the DISTR file - and search within that log file for "0CCE_CommonOutfit1" - it should tell you how many NPCs the outfit was applied to if it was successful or not.
I've tested this on the Steam version of Enderal - there should be no editorID changes between NPCs for the Steam version and modpub versions of Enderal SE.
Hello! First, many thanks for this beautiful mod. I have Just downloaded and installed It but I found an issue with the Golden Sickle clothes. People working at the Golden Sickle guildquarter (the scrivains) don't wear the clothes from the mod. Do you know why? I also thought if also Mael could be affected by this mod, maybe a Better garb would suit him Better. Thanks!
Are you playing Enderal with a language other than English? I distributed the Golden Sickle Outfits to the scribes using the Name reference "Scribe" as they all are named that in the English translation of Enderal SE.
So if they are named differently in another language - the SPID distribution might not effect them. If you open the CommonClothesEnderal_DISTR.ini file and head to line 26 - "Scribe" should be there. I would change the name to what they are called in your Golden Sickle Guildhouse and that would confirm it being the issue. If that is the case, then I'll make an update to the mod to use editorIDs only so the outfits are properly distributed.
As for Maél Dal'Loran - I use another outfit for him presently which is why he isn't included - I may release it at a later date.
Hi, yes, I am. I tried to change the .ini file line as you suggested with the translation of "Scribe" but the Golden Sickle apron still doesn't show up on scribes. Do I have to change also the expression "Golden Sickle Scribes" or Just "scribe"? All the Other npcs appear with your new clothes on.
I've pushed an update to the mod where the DISTR file is now using only editor IDs to affect NPCs. See if that fixes your Golden Sickle Scribes in the warehouse. Also note the comment I made to CaptinNEMO's comment where SPID may not replace an NPC's outfit fully if it is installed midsave and you've met the NPC once.
You can always check by typing in "coc capitalcitygoldensickle" in the console on the title screen of Enderal, which will take you directly into the guildhouse to check if they are wearing their new outifts.
Just wanted to report - works for me now on the Golden Sickle scribes, but still not the minstrels. EDIT: My bad - I think you have changed the look of the outfit since the screenshots. It is in fact working!
Great mod. Love the guild badges on the Golden Sickle members especially. I think you could include a couple of Riverville NPCs - never made sense for the mayor to wear a gambeson in the comfort of his home.
Hi, thanks a lot for your update! I saw the comments belle about SPID distribution of NPCs old Gear and clothes when loading an already existing save. I found out that my Golden Sickle Scribes still wear their old clothes. Same for the Aeterna bards. But I do have a non English translation of Enderal though, could still be this the issue? Many thanks.
I went and did some testing with the following steps:
Loaded a new game and entered the Guildhouse without the mod and the DISTR file installed. Exited the game.
Enabled the base mod and this mod for the DISTR file, and loaded the game. NPCs were still wearing their old outfits.
Exited the guildhouse, made a new save, then exited the game.
Relaunched the game, re-entered the guildhouse, and saw the Scribes wearing their new outfits. They still had their old Noble Clothes in their inventory after checking with the console, but they preferred to wear their Golden Sickle outfits.
I would try and replicate these steps to troubleshoot. This was done on the latest version of SPID.
You can try those steps with your existing save - but if you already installed the mod and progressed further in your save I wouldn't recommend removing it. You can keep it loaded so your next playthrough will have your NPCs using these clothes.
I'd imagine so - the SPID file was the only thing that was changed and I did not add/remove any NPCs from the list - only changed the file to distribute using EditorID rather than their names.
Thanks for wonderful MOD! I really love it! But do i need to start new game? NPCs are not applied during old save. I installed requird mods of SE 1.5.97 version.
I'd imagine what might be happening is that SPID is intended to distribute to fresh instances of NPCs or leveled NPCs which are dynamic upon spawn. However, this mod is targeting existing unique NPCs that already have data in your save. If you load this mod midsave, the NPCs are still wearing their old clothes and gear. SPID is then run when you install the mod at run-time which distributes the clothes and sets their outfits to the new clothes for the affected NPCs, but their inventory would still contain their old clothes/gear.
The Skyrim engine is a bit wonky with how clothing is equipped since NPCs normally favor gear with better armor rating, but clothes usually have 0 armor rating so the engine doesn't know which one to favor over the other. It should default to their set outfit though - you can try opening the console on an NPC who's supposed to be wearing the new clothes and using "removeallitems" and then "resetinventory" to reset their gear and outfit.
thanks your answer! I find out that DISTR file conflicts lnaguage(not English) of Enderal. I translated Scribe of DISTR file and golden sickle scribes of guild house are wearing Apron Golden Sickle Alt!
Hello, this mod does not include any edits to NPC records or faces and does not include different hairstyles.
Malphas' Blessing and Enderal NPC Overhaul include its own hairstyles for the NPCs. With the way NPC facegen is handled - the hair mesh ships with the NPC face so you only need to install those mods for it to work.
