- Changelogs
- Refreshed appearances for all children, with custom facegen created with the new head and hairs of Simple Children.
- Replaces all vanilla children's clothing textures and adds 10 new children's outfits, aiming to stay true to Enderal's look and feel while introducing distinction from Skyrim's designs.
- Unique outfits for quest-related child NPCs.
- Children are dressed based on their unique context. (For example, children in the Undercity will be dressed more shabbily than those in the Noble Quarter.)
- New hairs are vanilla-style, blending in with existing hairstyles, and use your hair textures.
- New skin textures from Simple Children are included, or you can use your own.
- All children are covered, including all quest child NPCs.
- Added some flags to character records for consistency.
- Cleaned and flagged .ESL.
Requirements
- Simple Children is not required.
- TK Children is required (the .tri files only). See below for instructions.
Compatibility
- As far as I know, not many other mods touch child records or add new children. If a mod does add new children, they should work fine with this mod - they just won't have the unique features.
- Incompatible with Kids of Enderal or any other mod that changes child records.
- Technically compatible with children clothing retextures, although this mod's textures will overwrite them.
- Compatible with eye mesh fixes such as SUEMR. Load any eye mesh mods after this mod and let the eye mesh mod overwrite.
- Compatible with child skin texture mods. I highly recommend Tragedian's Simple Children face retexture from Charming Children - Simple Kidmer Revamped in conjunction with Rustic Children.
- Compatible with Enderal Gameplay Overhaul. (EGO does not touch any child records.)
- Compatible with Enderal Armor and Weapon Overhaul. (Some children do have weapons but they aren't touched by EAWO.)
- Let me know in the comments if something needs a patch.
Installation
- Download and install TK Children. Delete everything in TK Children except the files ending in .tri. In other words, keep everything in the Meshes\Actors\character\character assets folder.
- Make sure you've deleted the TKChildren.esp and TKChildren.esm.
- Download and install this mod.
- Like with other NPC appearance mods, I recommend loading this mod fairly late in your load order.
Known Issue
- The girl beggar outfit has small wrist seams, this seems to be a vanilla issue that is noticeable due to the shorter sleeves on this texture. I'm looking for a workaround for it, but have included it for the time being.
Credits
- tktk1 for TK Children.
- tetchystar for Simple Children.
- jacknifelee for Dovahkinder Collection - Additional Children Clothes.
- 0Prime0 for Blades Samurai Armour and Kimonos.
- Peer pressure from the pals in the SureAI Discord to finally get around to posting this.
