I love your upscales, but this one changes the feel of the original statue a lot. The pose is clearly very baroque, which while it looks fine in Ark doesn't really suit the ancient statues we find overgrown in the wild.
of course, i like to tell you which guide i followed, knowledge must be shared :D
namely this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/92555
but from point IV i start to deviate. for the reason that i didn't make a standalone mesh but only replaced the statue with a similar one, i pasted the exported mesh into the original one. so i didn't have to adjust a collision but used the existing one.
i.e.: BSTriShape (replacer) - copy branch and then paste branch in the original mesh. then adjust the size and delete the original.
i think i did something wrong and i got a crash ingame. the last thing i did was to run the mesh once through cathedral asset optimizer and then everything worked.
i also saved myself the rest of the guide, since i make the normal map myself in my favorite program anyway. this works the fastest for me and you save yourself almost all the remaining work steps. if you would like to know more about this, please write to me :D
Ahhh thank you! I knew I'd seen that resource somewhere but I was looking for the link. ^^;; I'll definitely keep you in mind about the normal maps, thank you for offering! Cheers! :)

I also searched for a long time to see if I could find the original 3D model, but unfortunately no luck
Do you have any resources you could point me to for your workflow for getting the meshes into .nif? No worries if not, just curious what you've used!
