since the sand textures are not that good, i found some good replacement textures and so there is an optional sand texture addon. the textures are from ambientCG.

Yessss! It is so frustrating to have all these beautiful textures for vanilla game objects and no option to bring the Enderal specific ones up to the same quality. Thank you!
Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Unfortunately my knowledge is limited to how to upscale the textures and even then only rudimentary. But as soon as I have to rework it in Photoshop or something, my knowledge stops.
I really wish all the talented texture modders from Skyrim would come to Enderal one day. Until then it will have to be enough. :D
