I downloaded and installed this, but im still able to save like normal, with no restrictions.  I installed this mod via Vortex.  Not sure what I did wrong.

Starting from 2.0, the restrictions only start applying after you sleep for the first time, to avoid redoing and potentially breaking the tutorial. If you have slept, could be a conflict or something.

No, the main is 2.2. Maybe an older version is more reliable. It's in the old files. This for mod manager download, or this for manual.

It doesn't work for me as well. Tried both versions. Perhaps Skyrim Souls (unpaused menu mod) could be the culprit?

No, it shouldn't be. The 1.2 version definitely works well on its own (although the later version should too). You might have another conflict somewhere. Another save restricting mod maybe, they are never compatible

I love this so much! Enderal as a game really feels like when you take on greater challenges, you feel the actual rewards. Skyrim always frustrated me how relatively easy it was to make difficult but how hard it was to make it feel genuinely rewarding. I'm also excited to try out your other mod on my next playthrough! Very excited to see what you do in the future, in Enderal or elsweyr...

Thank you for the kind words! Yeah, that's why in Skyrim I keep going back to Requiem, the balancing is quite different with it

I've been meaning to try out Requiem, does the Reqtificator do a good job at patching overything? I'm worried I'll have some small niche mod that doesn't have a premade patch for it.

NPC records - yes (although if there are newly added NPCs, they need to be added perks and such, otherwise they will be too weak in comparison), leveled lists - nope (either manual adjustments or at least a Merged/Bashed patch is needed, Reqtificator does strange things to LL and containers lately). Generally needs xEdit checking, unfortunately. Some mods may be fine as is, it really depends.

That's honestly good to know because checking that stuff in xEdit is what I do anyways these days when adding new mods lol. Thanks for the info!

      * Can no longer recommend Requiem, as it now requires AE content :\
