This mod would be glorious if you could choose which NPCs to install with it. Like in a fomod installation.

Does anyone have an idea how I could go about installing it selectively? I really like this Constantine as his default version looks too much like Callisto in Enderal, but I don't care for Anime Jespar and Calia.

Isewein, sorry for the late reply, but I just now learned the way to do this.
First, you have to get xEdit, install it properly and get to work.
You load xEdit, load all mods, type "Malphas' in search filter down below,
-open both Malphas Blessing - Enderal.esp and Malphas Blessing - Fixes.esp
      -open Non-player character (actor) tabs
-search for your victim. For example I chose Natara, because I think her old face looks better
-look on the left, there's her form ID - 00019062
-go to your Enderal\Data folder and type facegen in search bar
-you'll get two folders. One in Textures directory, one in Meshes. Choose one of them and type her ID in search bar - 00019062
-you'll get a file with extension .nif if you're in Meshes, or an image file if in Textures - delete one, then go back and delete the other in the second folder
-now, you still got xEdit open, right? Rick Click on her name and click 'Remove'. NOT 'Remove filter' -> JUST "Remove'
-Close xEdit, agree to changes and then click 'Deploy Mods' in your mods tab if you're on Vortex like me.
-When asked agree to 'use newer file' or something
-start the game, open console, type 'help Natara', and look at her ID, then type 'player.placeatme 00019062 1' and behold! Natara is still old, but she looks ready to give you a good trashing
      -PROPHET
It seems hard, but that's only because of my wall of text. IT'S REALLY SIMPLE. It took me so much time to get it right because I'm dumb. You'll have no problem. You just have to be careful to delete proper ID's and proper facegen files. Cheers.

Thank you! You're a star! I ended up removing some of the young women and Aeterna (Tiwon is a Starling!) from this mod. They just look too barbified. The older ones and the men (apart from Walmart Astarion...) are great though. Basically it seems like with some NPCs the mod author wanted to make attractive, they went so overboard with that it hurts immersion, but the detail on the intentionally unattractive NPCs is impressive. Then there are some others which look great (Tealor, Lishari) but simply too different from their established appearance from the trailers etc.

Am I right to think that the first step (deleting the facegen) would have to be done in the respective Malphas' Blessing folders themselves if this is done before MB is to be installed? Trying to save an adjusted mod package for the benefit of future playthroughs.

Yes it does! For most at least. Some weirdly don't seem to have facegen in the mod folders so clearly there is something I haven't figured out yet but for the most part it works.

Yeah, I also noticed some of them lack facegen. Like one version of Daddy and Yuslan in 'Fixes'. No idea why.

I'm in love with this overhaul *-* They look incredible in the game! Big thanks for this mod! But I`m so sad that after completing the questline of Rhalata and saving Tharael's life, he returned to the default look...
Maybe it can be fixed? Or I did something wrong... Or was it intended...

coming back to add, I found Tharael from pre rhalata and post rhalata have different refID's, and are likely separate npc's. Would be very grateful for this to be updated! Love the mod otherwise.

I think you could do it manually. Just find his NIF file from this mod, copy it, change its name to second his ID and replace it in gamefolder. Also maby should look in xEdit if there some differences in lines.

to add my Experience to this, I'm using the Tharael Companion Mod and changing the ID of him after the Rhalata back to his first ID works for his face. No Idea if it breaks anything

      edit: works fine without problems

What's Tharael's ID, exactly? I got his ID for his post-Rhalâta questline, but I can't for the life of me find his original ID, and it's slightly different in the NIF files from what shows up in xEdit.

It would be 0013A1CA pre- and 0502E8E8 post-Rhalata, but it would probably (!; cum grano salis, I'm still getting my bearings in XEdit) be safer to copy the appearance from MB over to the version in Tharael's Afterlife rather than change his reference.

I'm wondering this too! His face looks amazing, but since his hair is literally just Astarion's but a little blond, it's been throwing me off so badly

Walmart Astarion I can't even. Spot on. BG3 is a great game but its assortment of Marvelised special snowflake companions to me symbolises everything I dislike about what D&D has become.

Most of the other faces in this mod, especially the side characters, are actually quite good and adhere closely to the original vision. Constantine "Bushybeard" for example, the Aeterna minstrels, the Bravebloods... I would advise everyone equally put off by Astarion as I was to give it a try neverthess and pick and mix.

Did "Malphas' Blessing - Unique Aeterna" work with "Enderal Remastered Armory Part I" and without "Enderal Armor and Weapon Overhaul"?

Partly this will help to fix invisible body's:

CN Traveler Outfit Vanilla Male and UNP CBBE Female at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

Treasure Hunter's Garb - Light Armor Mashup -SSE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

Hedge Mage Armor SSE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

But still Lishari Peghast hands and legs below the knee are not displayed. So her ID is 00032E1F and i delete "00032E1F.nif" file from "meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\Skyrim.esm" folder and texture "00032E1F.dds" from "textures\actors\character\FaceGenData\FaceTint\Skyrim.esm".

But that didn't help and when I tried to load game without these mods, game crashed, my saves now not work without these mods, they are corrupted, so be careful, this mod breaks saves.

This need to be in "Requirements" section on "DESCRIPTION" page and and be offered for download automatically after clicking "MANUAL DOWNLOAD" of "Malphas' Blessing - Unique Aeterna" option. The same logic as other authors of mods, whose mods require additional mods.

And there should be an explanation in text about the priority of these 6 files relative to each other and other mods, in the mods and plugins section, then people will not have problems.

Those mods you mentioned are required for Enderal Armor and Weapon Overhaul, not for this mod. If the problem arose with these Hedge Mage and so on, then this problem is not here, but in the Enderal Armor and Weapon Overhaul. I advise you to carefully read the description of that overhaul.I can guess that you installed Enderal Armor and Weapon Overhaul then removed it.
Please note that Enderal Armor and Weapon Overhaul is not completely removed by the mod manager and leaves behind a hell of a bunch of meshes that need to be cleaned manually in the game folder. And yes, after removing it, these meshes continue to replace the armor there and the textures have already been removed, so you have bare legs with hands (this is still normal, there may be purple textures in places).
As for broken saves: it's not really about a particular patch. If you go through the game with a massive overhaul, then removing it in the middle of the playthrough you will most likely corrupt the save and the game will not start, no matter what kind of mod it is. That is why it is advised not to delete mods in the middle of the playthrough at all. This is how Skyrim works. It can help to do such a thing: in your folder where the saves (in documents) are 2 files for each save: the save itself and the SKSE settings for this save with the same name. Take the file with SKSE from an earlier save (where no overhauls were installed yet or even from a new game), change its name to that of the same file but in the last save and replace it with a clean one. The save should open. (But! if you use something like Obody that saves NPC presets, then when you replace this SKSE file, they will all be reset, like many other settings of msm and SKSE, mind you)
And after that, I advise you to use "ReSaver" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5031/ and delete unattached instances there to clean all the nastiness in the save from remote mods. And it's better to do "Purge mods" in general (if you have a vortex) to temporarily remove all the mods that you currently have from the game folder, then delete everything that is not original in the game folder, and then click "Deploy mods" to return current.
