Can this follower be added during the game session? I installed this mod, but I didn't encounter him in the tavern. Even though I slept for several days in the game.
If I want to summon him with code, what is his code? I try to use enderalseedit, but I am not proficient and can not find what I want. Enderal is too lonely, without followers I would probably give up this mod and feel very sad.
If you read the mod description, there's instructions on how to add his summon spell.
Edit: Oops, at least, I thought there was. Sorry. In game, open the console by pressing the ~ key, type: help ishan and press enter, it should list his NPC code as well as the code for the summon spell if it didn't get added when the mod was installed.
Then, you can use player.addspell 01234567 (replacing the numbers with the summon spell code) or player.placeatme 01234567 (I think? Replace the numbers with the NPC code).
You may or may not have to specify a quantity for the placeatme command by adding a space and number after the code. Try this if you get an error without it. For example: player.placeatme 01234567 1
Enderal wasn't properly navmeshed like Skyrim since followers were not expected to be a part of the game except in certain circumstances. There's a number of path fixing mods available that try to fix this, but he will never follow everywhere. I included the summon Ishan spell for that reason.
Yeah it's okay I guess, I'm just wondering why he's standing there. Maybe I'll install nff just to make sure he follows. Or some other mod that makes followers move next to you when they are a certain distance falling behind you.
No, it's just ok. You don't have to guess. No idea, but it's the same for the other few followers available for Enderal on the Nexus. Tried to explain why, but... Hope that works out for you. Will lose the custom functionality if you add to NFF.
My Ishan is stuck in relax mode and won't follow me when I tell him it's time to go. I don't blame him the house in the Noble part is comfy but I miss him. Is there anything I can do to un-stuck him?
Hiya, looking forward to having your follower in this game, so downloaded your mod. But character is naked and will not clothe himself when give items, plus a large hole where schlong in suppose to be. I am running SAM light for the schlong. Any recommdations for solving this problem? Thanks in advance
Hmm, sounds like a patch might be necessary to add a compatible outfit for him. He should be using the default body for his race, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. The only real fix I can promise will work would be to uninstall SAM light. Wish I could be more help here.
by far the best of the 3 mods that add a follower to Enderal. nearly an unstoppable force when given decent gear and saved my behind more then once thanks to the summon ability
Thanks for this mod - I'm surprised there aren't more like it for Enderal. Really essential at start of game to have a follower who will fight at your side. The only sigh that I have is that he doesn't always want to follow, but a summon request does the trick. I love that he can summon creatures, and with a lvl 3 apparition who likes hand-to-hand fighting I have an unstoppable group.
Glad you're enjoying it! :) The Enderal team removed some things that are essential for followers to function in the game. I think that's why more followers haven't shown up. I had to add the functionality back in myself which a bit of alterations.
There's unfortunately nothing I can do about him not always following. Enderal is not completely and properly navmeshed, though Ixivon is working hard fixing pathing issues it seems. That is the reason behind giving the teleport spell to the player from the start. Otherwise, he'd be getting stuck all the time with nothing you could do.
Very nice mod, I finished Enderal once and felt so lonely wandering around map, even having companion who doesnt speak helps with it.
I just started using this mod not long ago, everything works good so far except one thing, I cannot make Ishan to equip anything I give him, nor armor or weapon. I go into equip mode but my character takes the items from his inventory and wears them instead of him.
EDIT: So only thing Ishan equips are the gloves, because he have none when I recruited him. He equiped them automatically after he got them in inventory which I'm not sure should happen too(wasnt playing Skyrim a few years). EDIT2: So I managed to put more then gloves on him(technically he did put it itself on) by making Ishan mod the last in my mod list(from lauucher) He wont still equip what I want but at least got some protection now.
I agree, even though you occasionally had a travelling partner, mostly you were alone, and having a bit of help and company out there is nice.
I'm not sure exactly about the equpping issue, but it sounds like you have another mod that manages outfits for followers that's conflicting. Also, after you moved it to the bottom of the load order, it resumed Skyrim's default way of deciding what a follower will wear, which is, whatever the highest price piece of armor in their inventory.
In other words, if you give them something to wear that is worth 50 gold, and they have a similar piece of armor in their inventory worth 100 gold, they will wear the one worth 100 gold. You have to remove the more expensive item from his inventory, and he will wear the cheaper armor.
Thanks, I really wanted one to play through the game with, so decided to create my own since Amanda didn't have many options. Hope you enjoy. Let me know if you have any ideas to improve him. :)
You should be able to recruit both. When testing out my pet mod, I could have him and a pet following at the same time. He has his own custom follower framework.
Hey, thank you for pointing this out! :) The same thing happened to me, and I had no idea why. I found the mod Enderal Topographic 3D Map, which fixed the issue for me and would've had no idea that my mod was causing it.
I think it's related to me original placing him out by the Forgotten Temple near the start of the game. I just looked in xedit, and found that although nothing was added or changed in the world, some parameters for the worldspace itself had been changed.
I deleted the record and just uploaded the update. Let me know if it works.
Nope, not a conflict. I hadn't paid too much attention to the Vatyr level when creating that. In v1 and v1.1 it went from a lvl 5 wolf to a lvl 8 bear to a lvl 40 Vatyr by level 20. Thank you for pointing this out as well!
I just reworked it and added 5 new creatures that'll get summoned before the Vatyr and made all of them level with the player for their specific levels. I also reworked the levels he'll get his improved daggers. Hopefully, this is better. Let me know what you think

This might be a conflict with my LO (I'm using EGO), but he seems a bit op: I'm at lvl 22, he's summoning a lvl 40 Vatyr.

Also love the new option to turn off his summons altogether, very neat indeed! :)
