    such a letdown to see this wont be finished. Its such an excellent idea, i really wish i was able to get it working but none of the talent-related skills show up in my talents tab. Sad day.

      Yes i was excited for it too, but between the the awful creation engine and the janky enderal scripts it was just waay too much effort.

    definitely the overhaul i needed. but sadly elemental expert does not make spells 95% more powerful. it changed nothing on my spell damage. is this mod still being worked on? cuz it would be neat having all the changes working

      I have no plans to continue development on fallout and elderscrolls games. The engines and by extension creation kits are just too limiting and archaic for me. The akward and poorly documented unique scripting language does not help either. I may return to it if i get the itch.

      Fire arrows talent in sinistrope only the name change  skill still give me invisible.

      Hi, 
      I still have the same issue with both perks, bone judge hurts cause it looks very fun but I get a status of bone judgement that writes +10 to bone judgement 20700 hours

      Yes, there has been no update since this issue was first reported. It's good to know the status is applying, it helps identify where the spell is broken.

    Well of Life doesnt seem to be working for some reason. Also its still called Death Mage when looking at the tree. The description changed but not the name or apparently the effect. I made sure all the scripts where installed correctly, but it just doesnt do anything.

    I've been playing and streaming with this. Now I am wondering if this mod uses scripts to edit the spells, because I've been trying to determine what's been turning Life Absorption into a Destruction spell, when I know its a light spell (via enderal). This of course concerns me, as i've been playing a character that uses Mental/Life Spells. 

    By the way been really enjoying using this so far. I may have more questions as they pop up.

      vanilla enderal uses alot of scripts o get around the creation kits limits. but the only scripts ive added is for the bonejudge and well of life. you can view the included scripts in the .zip.

      Life absorption is not directly referenced in any perk, so i have not touched it. i know the combat overhauls do make those sorts of changes if your using them.

    By the new idea of Elementalism, shouldn't Elementalism have some enchanting perks that increase enchanting power? And thaumaturge gets some that increase charge (duration)?

      i could do that, but i think phasmalist fits better for enchanting. i like the concept and lore for phasmalist, just not the execution. i also consider enchanting to be distinct from spell casting. like casting big fireballs is not the same as effective soul crafting.

      Yeah, I get the crafting-enchanting perks going to Phasmalism, but just straight "enchantments are more effective" perks I think have a place in Elementalism. Arcane Interference in Thaumaturge already includes this, and I always questioned its placement there.

      Well, I'd think remove the enchanting buff from Arcane Interference from the Thaumaturge tree, and maybe make a dedicated enchanting buff perk in Elementalist. It could be a straight buff, or a buff to only elemental enchants, though I prefer a straight buff perk if it's deeper into the tree.
      Thaumaturge, to follow the duration and cost theme, could have a perk to just straight buff the charge of all enchantments, though I don't think it would affect pre-existing enchantments, only crafted ones, so maybe not.

      Ive already replaced the enchanting part of arcane interference on the spreadsheet.

      Unfortunately similar buffs from perks don't really stack properly, they tend to replace each other. Their is a work around to make them add the buff as an active magic effect, but then the players active effects menu gets spammed. Which is why i try to keep straight upgrades to the same tree, in the non optional perk spots.

      One thing I've learned though, is that being a Phasmalist (lore wise), is as bad as being a necromancer or deadra worshipper in the Enderal Lore. It's practise is banned by the church. But it does bring up a point on how they deal with enchanted weapons and armor. If this is the case.

      Just don't hold your breath lol. It's a much bigger project than i anticipated and real life is a bit of a mess now(blame covid). I am commited to doing this, but it might not be finished before ES6.

    I like a lot of these perks. Will there be any plans to change affinities, as I imagine changing the nature and content of the perks potentially changes the nature of the combination affinities?

      yes, but it will be a separate mod. and probably not any time soon, as im trying to focus on one at a time to avoid burning out as i did before.

      I actually was going to do affinites, first, but decided i should design the perks first.

      As an aside, are you limiting yourself to the same number of Enderal perks, to avoid editing the Meditation perk stone things? Or, do you plan on editing them to accommodate any extra perks?

      Im sticking to the same number of perks. I see no reason to add more, given you can only max out around 3 trees at most, without alot of grinding.
      My changes actually reduced the number of essential perks substantially, leaving plenty of room for some more creative ones. I still have room for more if i think or find one good enough.

      Hmmm, alright, nice. I was ruminating on adding some of my favorite perks from Path of Sorcery and other perk mods into Enderal, as my own personal perk overhaul. I am not a huge fan of Enderal's dependence on perk sinks, though I do prefer Enderal's perks to Skyrim's.

      Yes that erked me too, especially with the combat overhaul. Phasmalist is the worst, requiring 3 perks before you get any benefit at all out of it and even then you still need to find a soul and craft a necklace.

      Yeah, exactly. I was going for it just for the enchanting stuff, but enchanting is terrible.
      I can't remember, but does Synergetic have some enchanting perks? Would easier access and maybe better balanced enchanting be a goal?

    Hey ho!
    Installed the mod because I really love the idea. But in my game nothing is changed. I can't identify any conflict and it's the last thing in the load order. Any idea?

    Edit: I see, some have changed. Do the colors in the document indicate the implementation process?

      yes there's a key on the top row. red is planned, orange is implemented but untested, green is finished or unchanged.

    Well I'm not doing too much with my Enderal. So I'd be happy to test things out with a new character :)




    With my load Order I found two very minor conflicts:
    Riverville Jail SE (Leveled Item: 01E_MOB_SkelettWeapon)
    and Enderal Player Home  (Misc. Item: The bloody skull)

      The skeleton weapon leveled list is probably the jail mod adding crowbars and my mod giving skeles bows. I should be able to remove that from my mod, as i have a work around in progress anyway.

      Not sure why the jail touches bloody skull, but my mod ads a script to them which allows them to be used for the bonejudge perk. Which would be a pain in the ass to work around.

      When this mod is finished ill probably do some patches, but it's not a priority just yet. Thanks for the info, im gonna add this to the compatibility section.

      removed the skele leveled list changes from my mod.

      I have no idea what the house mod changed about the skulls. Unless it's used as an activator or something just overwrite it with my mod or combine them in zEdit.

      Regarding the bloody skull - required to make some of the Phasmalism talismans (not all need it). Used to throw mine away, till I figured out their use! P.

      Already played through Enderal a couple of times, but have started another game. Not that far into it that I can't restart to try this out.

      I'm assuming Enderal Perk Overhaul esp is Synergetic? I don't have other perk overhauls. Clarifying (in case anyone else gets confused.). I was checking plugins (Vortex/launcher data files) for Synergetic. Slight moment of panic when I thought the mod hadn't downloaded properly. P.

      The file for this mod is "Enderal Perk Overhaul.esp" if memory serves. you could just manual download and have a look inside the zip to be sure.

      I know skulls are used for pharmacist, but my mod won't effect that. i was confused why the house mod mentioned would be altering bloody skulls.

      There is no guarentee this mod is compatible with other perk mods, but worst cade scenario is that one perk mod simply overwrites parts of the other. Just load the on you prefer lower/ after the others.

      Thanks. Downloaded, and so far, working well. No problems. An interesting 'side-effect', since I added this mod, an idle animation I'd had problems with through several playthroughs has suddenly corrected itself. P.
      Not sure if that has anything to do with this mod, but it's a bonus.
      Incidentally, no problems with bloody skulls - still finding them everywhere! P.

      Curious, is the 'Strange Place" - perk tree - actually called that ingame?  Always had a long german name in my English version of Forgotten Stories. P.
