I got the same error when trying to place the Altar in the Akropolis meditation area ('A Strange Place'). I was able to use "player.placeatme " console command to drop it there finally, but I cannot seem to be to activate it. When I point the mouse cursor at it, the prompt is to pick it up again, rather than use/activate it. I've added screenshots, please help.
I want this Altar in the Akropolis please. If you can make an addon/alternative version with the Altar already placed and ready to use in the Akropolis meditation area, that would be great, thanks!
Edit: by the way, the Altar figurine looks really cool in the game. The Grim Reaper giving blessings and cures, nice irony!
