Yeah, the Lishari change in this mod is really weird. It looks nothing like her, and it's especially jarring because you can talk to her about how looking Skaragg has impacted her life. I don't know what the logic was behind that, it breaks immersion. The others looks great, though.
the faces look great tho i wish there was a mod that got rid of all those weird, over shiny and gay anime hairs so many characters have. its honestly a bit of a tone clash. also the hairs dont match the game or their faces because they're ported from a different game or somethin. i dont mind the witcher hairs tho. especially with the Salt and Wind retexture.
over shiny and gay anime hairs lol. so true, however we work with what we can.
look they are still better than the alternative vanilla hairs right?
what i find funny about this comment is in Japan, these hair styles on men is considered masculine, but here in the west they are effeminate looking, just as 1980s rock and roll America when men wore makeup on their faces was considered masculine and now it's considered gay AF lol.
just another example of social and cultural manipulation to define the times, the same thing happens to music, they end up trying to reuse styles that were popular in another era and try to make them the new norm again lol, sometimes they can be successful and other times it can be very uncanny valley and rejected by the majority of people.
The enderal launcher doesn´t seem to have a texture option anymore in the settings, how do I change them? Some characters have old lady wrinkles all over their youthful faces it´s very distracting
Is there a way to turn off lishari's overhaul only because I'm not a huge fan of the changes you made with her (no offense, big fan of this mod in every other aspect)?
I had a weird bug where vortex kept saying I needed SkyUI and would not deploy unless it was added. And obviously the standalone version has it built in already. But I just deleted the files Enderal didn't want after the deploy. Fugly faces are skyrim's biggest turnoff which is the only reason I went for this. But I seem to notice some of the random NPC faces look weird. This is my first time playing Enderal, so I don't know what's normal and what isn't. They clearly have the long curly hair and such, but their faces are just nasty.
You need to check if SKSE.ini (Data/SKSE/SKSE.ini) has these lines, if not - add it. [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 So you can see high resolution tints for Unique NPCs.
In Enderal Launcher Settings > Details > Textures Set textures to High or more (or it will cause issues with some NPCs)
Also, should I put the entire folder into Data directory? all should I put the 01 02 03 folder into the Data directory? The installation guide is confusing.
I get 4 black face bugs (so far) with this mod. The Base ID's just don't seem to be in the meshes or textures folder to remove? But I know it's this mod as I removed every mod 1 by 1 and started a new game each time (around 23 starts!) and NPC Overhaul was the one to give the bugs.
2 Highway men
NPC Base ID : 00048389 & 0004838A I can't find the meshes or texture folders even though they have the KS hairdo (I don't use KS hair mod, so must be this mod changing them?)
Any suggestions bar reapplying face gen data a 'la Creation Kit?
Honestly, if you're not wanting to use Easy NPC for managing the Enderal FaceGen then I recommend downloading the Face Discoloration Fix mod from Skyrim SE mod page. That's what I have, just in case I get a black face.
Friends, there is a truly non-obvious solution. I've used Face Discoloration Fix, but not the newest version. For me v1.5.97 of the mod worked like a charm.
SInce this mod was last updated, the game updated as well and the devs changed the base facial meshes. That's why you encounter the black face bug. This mod doesn't mesh well with the original NPCs from the updated Enderal, currently.
