This looks brilliant and really goes some ways towards making Enderal look less like a mod and more like the proper game in its own right that it is. Unfortunately, the hero menu appears squished in recent releases (as does the DD standard paper one, but there's a fix available for that one here). Any chance you could replicate that fix for this mod? [Works like a charm now, s.b.!]
As for the static background picture, I really enjoy it. The frozen gameworld in the background always looked silly to me. The only thing missing is a matching retexture for the DD Phasmalist wheel. Anyway, thank you so much for your efforts. Walk blessed!
I put a patch in my misc files. I can't test it, so I need someone to tell me if it works or not.
If it does work, rob18, you're more than welcome to take it and post it here. I'll just delete it off of my page - it doesn't really fit there, anyway. Just need a guinea pig.
Amazing! I can't believe you actually went through the trouble to make this just for me and the maybe five other people who will see this. Genuinely. Wishing you a very blessed new year! <3
EDIT: To be clear, you can in fact use xcal68's *paper* hero menu patch even when using the Ancient Stone UI. Sorry if I was confused.
This looks amazing, could you please make a version without the "static" background picture, when entering the journal and the other menus. I like it quite a lot, when the gameplay background stays besides these menus.
Or could it be easily done by deleting something myself. Hope for your answer, mod looks great.
I'll make a desaturated/grey version once I've done the HUD and Skyrim version (would probably fit that game better), but because of dear diary's black text you need to keep it reasonably bright to be readable
