Uploaded v1.2, which fixes an issue that prevented players from buying the Marketplace home in Ark. Please update, then type in the console commands specified in the description.

Question, does this mod actually allow you to fix the fireplace at the abandoned house and use the door? Or anything like a protected storage?

Sorry for the late reply. The mod does not change the way you enter the house, partly because I wanted to keep it simple (read: easy to make for me and with as little change to the original as possible), partly because there is a Phasmalist Workbench in there and Entropy is not an accepted school of magic in Enderal, so essentially the Prophet is still supposed to crawl through the fireplace to keep up appearances.

Ok, got a problem. When I use the broom to clean up the deserted ruin it makes the secure chest disappear. Reloaded my save twice to see if it was a conflict with any other mod, but it's not. With just this loaded it still makes the chest vanish after the cleanup.

Edit- I just restarted the game from the launcher and now the chest is back. That is just strange. I know it wasn't there after the cleanup at least three times when I was testing it. Well now it is back so I'll keep playing the game.

Huh, that is indeed very strange. Did you use the old version of the Deserted Ruin Player Base before switching? Although even that should not matter. Well, glad it seems to have solved itself.

No, I only had this file. From a fresh start after the last patch/update. I got it to happen twice when I loaded up the save right before going into the ruin for the first time. After I use the broom the chest disappears. When I load the save after exiting the game and launching it from desktop it appears again upon loading the last save I made after cleanup.

If anyone else has the same issue, then just use the broom, make a hard save, exit, then restart the game from the launcher. The chest has been back every time I restart the game and load the last save I made before exiting the game.

Really weird, thanks for the info. The chest is in no way hooked up to the script/activator or link markers. It's there from the beginning and should not be affected by any cleanup. But well, as long as there's a workaround everything's good right?

But can you please ad an option to remove other stuff? I dont like the wood boxes in the abandoned house.

I suppose. You mean the static crates that aren't any use, right?

What I currently not know how to do is move objects. So any containers that are there pre-cleanup will always be in the same place post-cleanup. For statics, I could disable the original and place an identical static somewhere else.

Edit: Also, if any more stuff bothers you, you can use Jaxtonz Positioner to move/remove it.

Edit2: Or use the console to disable stuff you don't like. Then use the space you've freed up to place other stuff.

Thanks for de suggestion. But it's safe to use console to disable stuff? Doesn't that make errors in the save file? I remember one time reading to avoid using console commands to change world places/interiors.

I've actually posted an update to accomodate your request. ;)

Using the console to disable stuff ... uhm, I'm not sure really. I very rarely do it (sometimes to disable dead bodies that won't disappear), and it's often hard to actually get the right thing because often there are mists or other effects in front of the object you want to disable. However, in EnderalFS, the console will actually show you the properties of the thing you clicked on, so you could make sure it's the right object before disabling.

Sounds great. Definitely something I'll be trying out, since I actually like the Deserted Ruin anyway.

Glad you like the idea! I also like the Deserted Ruin, I pretty much instantly turned it into a player base on my first playthrough. :)
