About this mod

Alb gameplay is now centered around ranged combat.
Blizzard is the ultimate it is supposed to be, heal is not worthless anymore and a new spell will buff ranged damage.
The elexetor armor can be found in the world and is effectively an extension to the Alb skill tree.
The legendary energy weapons are now unique and endgame ready.

Permissions and credits
I recently played through Elex2 and was rather disappointed with how the Alb gameplay turned out. At least I expected ranged energy weapons to be a part of it. Therefore, I changed some things around and hell .. why not sharing it here. Maybe some of you like it or at least use it as a starting point for whatever mod you have in mind.

Spells:
-Heal:
  • now heals over time
  • duration: 30s
  • heal: 210
  • armor: +50
  • health: +100
  • requires: 40elex (up from 20)

-Blizzard:
  • damage: 1500 (up from 400)
  • duration: 8s (up from 6)
  • range: 12 (up from 5)
  • requires: 80elex (up from 40)

-Elex Infusion:
  • new spell to buff ranged damage
  • +35 range weapons (350dmg)
  • duration: 15s
  • requires: 20elex and lightning 1/1, energy weapon master 1/1, heavy ice attack 1/1
  • located right next to the elexetor armor

Armor:
The Elexetor Armor can be found in a somewhat similar spot to Calaans Light, just colder. Jetpack is required.
I tried to add a touch of lore to it to make it blend into the world.
  • 150 armor
  • 80 poison resist
  • 25 rad resist
  • 50 jet fuel
  • object highlighting (sunglasses)
  • requires: elex 3/5
I missed the mask from Elex1 so I used the rebell hood mesh instead.

Specialization
:
  • 2 lone wolf
  • 100 max elex
  • requires: ice magic 5/5

Modification:
  • 10 ranged weapons
  • 50 stamina
  • requires: ice magic 4/5

Consumables:
Elex and Purple Elex act like mana potions now, restoring 100 elex. Requires to be an Alb. Does not provide frost resist anymore.

Weapons
:
The weapons are in a separate file. They are completely independent of the rest.

Bringer of Blessing:
  • tldr: pewpewpewpew
  • damage base 100 (up from 63)
  • firerate 200ms (down from 750)
  • lowered recoil
  • 3 sockets
  • crosshair: canon (triangular, heavy weapon)
  • requires: 75dex (up from 50), 60int (up from 37)
  • magazine: 30 (up from 20)
  • no multishot
  • automode

Calaan's Light:
  • tldr: PEW PEW PEW
  • damage base 400 (up from 220)
  • firerate 0ms (down from 750, but requires reload due to magazine size)
  • magazine: 1
  • no recoil
  • 3 sockets
  • crosshair: magic (round/circular)
  • requires: 85dex (up from 84), 70int(up from 61)
  • 3x multishot
  • no automode
  • now uses plasma cells

Remarks:
- I intended the armor to act like an extension to the skill tree. Due to the requirements, skilling ice magic up to 4/5 also increases ranged shot damage by a flat 100. Skilling up to 5/5 will add another 20% damage if you are alone. So .. the Alb skill tree is finally about ranged energy weapons as well. Also, plain armor values are boring. The armor has less armor compared to any T3 armor in the game, but makes up for it with the aforementioned effects.

- Under the hood, the heal spell is food. Therefore, the magic effect and sound is missing and the x2 perk will affect the heal part of it .. like it or hate it I do not know how to create this effect otherwise. The bonus health acts like a health shield or overheal buffer. Any health regenerated into this buffer will protect your actual health from taking a hit and popping the spell before a fight will not result in heal going to waste.

- I tweaked the values during endgame with shotguns as a reference point, so for chapter 4 it should be fine. If you manage to get the entire set and all the skills in chapter 1 it will be overpowered, but that is true for the vanilla game as well.
