@wezyk12 I see in your config you have set EnableOcclusionCulling="false", so occlusion culling is disabled. But theoretically shouldn't occlusion culling improve performance? Ie. in the 3d scene when an object in front occludes/blocks visibility of other objects behind, those objects are culled (no longer rendered)
To be fair I haven't tested the same config with it on/off. I was doing a compare to my config and noticed this.
There is an "ambient occlusion" setting in the game, and I think it refer to that. It's not occlusion culling, it's how light will be affected by objects, and makes prettier/realistic shadows. Having it off compared to max with the ingame setting make me gain up to 10fps where I was trying.
I got a crash shortly after installing this, although I'm not sure if it's caused by the mod. Besides, I don't see any fps improvement. In fact, my old settings seem to work better.
Instead of editing a ConfigNew and setting it to read-only, you can copy the necessary parameters to a regular config, it is never overwritten by the game itself.
I tried to transfer these parameters to a regular config and it worked, maybe you can completely replace the regular config with a new one, but I did not check. Try it and let me know if I'm wrong.
An update has been released that fixes the lack of textures on AMD cards, but after installing your preset, some of the textures disappear again, fix please.
This 3 files increase the lag... i have 18 fps now... not 30 :( i have a RX480 4gb and aRyzen 3600, 48 GB of ram ! it' normal ?
edit : ok i have find the reason, i was crated a bakup folder in the wrong place :
In the folder "data\ini" There can be NO other file, or additional folder! Otherwise the settings will NOT work! So when you back up your files, DO NOT save them in the "ini" folder. There can ONLY be 3 game files in this folder and nothing else!

however, the game does not open, when trying to start it it closes.

Also, have you found a way to modify the current horrible FOV values ? Or tweak the camera in any way ?
