I somehow "lost" Gina, the wolf pet. Is there any way to teleport to her, like it is possible with the other companions, or is there another way to bring her back? I tried "Teleport Party" but that didn't include her.
I loaded several different saves and always visited their camp. She was never there. I also searched the entire Bastion, just to be safe. I went on companion missions/quests because I thought that is the game's function to safely dismiss the entire party. I recruited other pets via original/vanilla means (default "Follow Me") in hopes that would normalise the game's internal data. Nothing worked so far.
The weird part is that the game tells me that I'm already accompanied by Gina when I attempt to recruit another follower (over the initial one) via the game's original/vanilla Follow Me function - the mod's alternative works as intended. So, that seems to indicate that the game still somehow considers her to be in my party, but also not at the same time, since I can easily recruit a follower via the vanilla Follow Me when I dismissed all other companions.
While no scripts for that has been modded, there's still the ability to jug faction potions or ask Game Master for factions buffs. Among such buffs is a hidden faction perk that makes you belong to the faction by game's design. Thing is, I've never tested if the factions will recognize you, this was implemented because without these hidden faction perks, Jax can't use their magic.
You can test it yourself. Ask Game Master to print you money, buff you with the factions and then go to the factions and see. These buffs can be added and removed at any time, with money.
Wayyy too complicated just to add a mod far as I can tell. I am an end-user .... not a programmer, and things you tell folks to do here in these comments might as well be in ancient Mesopotamian!
How about a mod that simply goes into the game folder and works?
Decided to replay this gem. Does this mod contain your combat enhanced mod? I noticed that weapon crafting still uses the original amount of weapons (3 damaged into 1 normal, 2 normal into 1 enhanced). Using DX11
Yeah, it does. I have created a new Game Master mod that integrated a lot of other mods, it was a platform where I could work on those files in one mod. And it actually changed some features of other mods, like the balancing. I'll post a changelog of it for clarity, will be here in changelogs. But yeah, this is there - Restored vanilla amounts of items needed for Build Weapons modules.
Also the mod itself cointains all merged mods that can be seen in the gallery.
Play vanilla, and once you'll become irritated, try this. We actually have G3 soundtrack for proper atmosphere, heh. Everything in the engine that could be modded, is modded. The design is pretty open in the way that most things are not forced onto the player and are optional or can be toggled on/off ingame. There's a Game Master and a new Arena in the latest update, great stuff.
Players can obtain better gear (at the cost of elexit) and companions - and that is somewhat offset by a slightly harder combat.
Some other question btw, when I use DX11, some textures are just red, in specific, the glass ones, bottles, windows, some armor garnets, etc. And, various dialogues in the world where cut, and when an npc talks with another, it just keeps skipping, getting cut down. i've tested it without the mod and all the chit chats where talked right after i loaded the game one behind another. Any suggestions of what it could be? im using your mod and Alb Overhaul all merged together
You can find some topics of those failed textures on Steam forums or maybe on Elex reddit. I think multiple people had the same problems with red textures, probably connected to the graphic card.
NPC banter in the world, which is not during a dialogue, getting cut, I haven't heard that one before. If it would be mod-merging related, you would be missing dialogues with NPC's or having blank text in dialogue options. Best advice for starters is to briefly test each mod solo and vanilla.
i decided to use just dx12 now, for the performance as well, but im using the two mods unmerged in the game and the npc banter and red textures just goes away, so i think its fine
which mods are in the Enhanced mod? and can i just put in the current folder, or do i need a external program something like Vortex but not Vortex but for Elex 2 specific?
Edit: I know now, and I freaking love it, great job making the mod :-)

No idea what made her disappear to begin with, though.

Won't i get too op and kill "gothic atmosphere"?
