About this mod
Despite my immense love for Elex 2, I cannot ignore the fact that its graphics bear resemblance to titles from 2012. Motivated by this, I took it upon myself to develop a mod that enhances the game's visuals, giving it a more contemporary appearance akin to titles released in 2018 or later.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The mod package includes three files: two 'ConfigDefault' files that provide a choice between having no fog or a subtle hint of fog on the horizon, and one 'ElexReshadeByMatux' file.
INSTALLATION
To install the mod, you need to place the 'ConfigDefault' file in the ELEX2\data\ini directory and the 'ElexReshadeByMatux' file in the ELEX2\system folder. Before using my reshade file, you must download the latest version of 'Reshade,' which can be found at https://reshade.me/.
During the reshade installation process, select the 'dx10/11/12 versions' option after choosing the elex2.exe file. To ensure the functionality of 'Reshade,' it is recommended to install all available graphical effects. After installing 'Reshade,' SET THE IN-GAME FOG QUALITY TO 'LOW' if you want to use the 'no fog' part of the mod. To enable the 'Reshade' part of the mod, press the 'home' button and, after skipping the tutorial, select 'ElexReshadeByMatux' in the 'home' bar.

It is crucial to note that we are all aware of the optimization issues present in ELEX 2, and many of you may hesitate to install graphical mods.
