Hi, I downloaded these mods separately but I changed the order many times and the NPCs still cannot talk to each other. Only death can talk to each other. There is also a gun that appears on the shelf at the same time as Slice and Dice Twinblades of Eternal Flame, but I can't pick it up. I would like to ask what is the correct order? Can you give me a serial number? I really like these mods. Thank you.
You would need to run this mod solo without others to be able to pick up these swords. If you also run Death or E2 Enhanced mods, you can see the swords, but they are not pickable and must be bought from Death. That is for balancing reasons in those mods. It could be merged to do what you want, but that might be too much work. As a side note, in E2 Enhanced one can use the Game Master to add any amount of elexit to just buy the swords from Death.
Thanks for your reply. After trying again, I found that the dialogue mechanism between death and NPC always conflicts, which makes it impossible to talk to the summoned NPC. I can only talk to death. And when I ask death to follow me, he will beat me up. Is this a prank?
Sorry, I just realized that the image was not uploaded successfully. My overlay order is m_9_COMBAT, z_NPC, z_COMPANIONS, z_DEATH, Z_SLICE&DICE, which always results in NPCs being unable to talk, but Slice and Dice Twinblades of Eternal Flame can be picked up.
Coversations being blank means that info.hdr would need to be merged. I would suggest to just use E2 Enhanced, either the whole mod or maybe just to borrow the info. Thing is that the engine just overwrites the mod files based on load order.
Death doesn't have a high opinion of the player, so yeah, he will try to kill you. If you'll managed to survive, he might help you, for a fee.
Well, run the mod solo or merge your mods. If the swords are not there, then either you have the mod in the wrong folder, or a mod with a higher load order overwrites the files.
The requirement is to actually run this mod if you want to pick them up. In any other case, where this has been merged with other mods, you can buy them from Death. That's for balancing reasons.
The silver lining is that Genome's mods have to be merged if you want to use more than one. Elexresman is the tool.
Ok, thanks, but I don't have any other mod that could possibly conflict. Mod is installed in packed folder and swords are there, on the shelf, I just can't take them. I have couple of other mods for Jet, Faster sprint, Flashlight, but they couldn't conflict with this?
You'll have to merge them with elex2resman, or run this solo. Or run ELEX 2 Enhanced.
Like I said, Genome only loads one mod, the one with the highest load order. There are nuances where it loads only types of files. So what happens is that this mod has the world and sector in which you can see the swords, but since you run z_STAMINA that has higher load order and it contains templates, the engine won't load any templates from mods in the lower load order, therefore you can't pick up the swords. Not that this is useful or needed to know. There was a merging guide available for the past year, but it's gone. Modding Genome is just

Are there any requirements should met?
