I have asked another modder if this could be done, but seeing that you are working on the teleporters, I will ask here as well. Is it possible to disable teleporting from just ANYWHERE on the map? What would be nice is, when you do wish to teleport, you have to be at another teleportation device. You can't just go teleporting from the middle of f***ing nowhere to anywhere you want. LAME!! Think about it, if you were in such a world you would have to teleport from one to the other, like using a elevator in a scyscraper, you wouldn't just press a button from your cubicle and "poof!" you're in the lobby FFS!
YESSS!!!!! So much this. I like having the teleporters, but being able to activate them from anywhere via the UI is just a bit too cheap.
Having to make your way to a teleporter to be able to use the network would be a nice, happy medium between the ultra convenience of UI teleportation and not having them at all (or only having a few). It would keep you "in" the game world, rather than pulling you out of it and feeling like a cheat.
Wondering how it could be done - perhaps one could deactivate the ability to click on teleporters on the UI map, and then have a clickable ability attached to teleporters that opens a version of the map UI (well, in fact the original version) that enables you to use the teleporters?
Good idea. I don't like teleporters. Only for the lazy. Could you also create a version with only one port active? The one from the "Camp in the Center" would be enough for me as a retreat. Ps. An absolute no-port version for hardcore gamers would also be fun. Thanks for the idea.
First, I made a version that completely removes all teleports. As noted by dear harryagamez below, this causes a bug with all partners(I checked). When you tell them to "go to camp," they won't go there until you teleport. Therefore, a Small camp and base in Abessa can not be removed without consequences, alas:(
Couldnot this cause a bug where Duras never gets to the small camp? If I remember correctly, you need to teleport to the small camp for Duras to go there. If you don't do that, he will stand at the top of Goliet.
Hm... we need to test it. My Duras died in the first Chapter. When does this happen? As an option, I can optionally leave 2-3 teleports on the entire map. If someone likes the idea. We just need to decide which ones.
At the very beggining of the game. Once you recruit Duras, you can ask him to go with you and Jax will tell him he has a small camp where they can meet. Problem is, if you don't teleport at least once to the small camp, Duras will never go there. If you ask him to leave the party and go to the camp, he will go to the top of Goliet.
About the teleporters, I would say leave the one in the small camp and the one in Origin camp.

UPD: Done. Left three teleports, for balance, such a triangle in the center of the map.
