Yeah you need to merge info.hdr. Or you can take info.hdr, the World file and localizations from E1 Enhanced, slap them into your mashup and that will work too, to a certain degree.
According to the merging guide the engine only loads ONE mod pak? I'm pretty sure that I'm running multiple mods successfully - but they don't contain conflicting files. I guess that's why it's working.
That's why it states basically. It loads file types more than anything else. Some disable only its extensions, some disable whole mods, .hdr files are the most benevolent. The most common type, templates are definitely one of the more aggresive ones and disable everything and since most mods contain those, there's no point to post an advanced guide since it doesn't change the fact that you need to merge your mods 99% of time if you want all of their features.
