About this mod

A small mod that aims to improve the value of the junk items and the amount of Elexit found. I felt the player should be given more incentive to search for items of value.

@wesker005 Thank you for the cool idea in the mod Valuable Junk that served me as an inspiration to create my first mod ever. And what work it was in the end! I hope you don't mind I've presented something very similar, I just thought that there should be different values. After all, I've done all the rewriting/merging entries myself, so no 'copyright' issues here, I hope ^.^

@Baltram  thanks for the elexresman - a wonderfull easy tool to mod Elex with!
Elex Resource Manager v1.1 by Baltram <[email protected]> (Februar 19th 2018)

Description:

More incentive to search for the items of the old world. Less feeling of "meh" after finding a bag of Elexit.
Along with more joy in finding stuff this mod will make the progress a little faster in the beginning.
Mid-late game means usually swimming in Elexit anyway so, I daresay, breaking the late-game economy isn't going to be an issue.

1) Low-value items (goblets, knives, plates etc.) stay roughly the same price.
2) More sophisticated or rarer items (hammers, wrenches, old medkits, golden goblets etc.) are around 2 - 2.5 times as valuable. It now pays out to look for these for a change.
3) Elexit bags should be a proper explorational reward, not a "meh". The respective values have been upped from 10/25/50 to 30/80/200.

Installation:
Unpack the file  "m_1_junkandelexitbags_more_value.pak" and place it in your Elex\data\packed\ folder. With the Steam version it is  %%\steamapps\common\ELEX\data\packed\

Uninstallation
Just delete the said file.

Compatibility
Unfortunately, issues can occur with many other mods. If the engine finds out that there is even one conflicting Template\*.elextpl entry within various mods, it doesn't choose one mod over another, it rather loads whole sections of vanilla values. Nearly everything has got an elextpl entry and you likely don't know what was changed. Yes... a bummer. The solution is to test or merge everything manually (meticulously choosing which entry you want over another) into the mod that's last alphabetically in the game's directory. Elexresman, a text editor, and some basic DOS skills can help, or maybe some other tools too.
---
1)  Bad news: if you have more mods that change weapons, spells, people, behaviors, items, and prices they *likely* won't work together unless manually merged.
2) Good news: I've prepared the merge-patches for the Elex Overhaul v 1.7.1 and Elex Overhaul Plus v 1.3. mods. Choose the one you have installed.
3) Good news II: Mods changing the music, graphics, talking, animation, and writing should not cause compatibility issues. For example the "Skilldescription" mod works without merging.
