Mod uses Reshade. Is not tagged Reshade.

I believe that when I first released this there was no such tag, updated it now.

First mod I try on ESO, did a bit of testing and it looks so great, thanks a lot for your work!

I've always been vocal about my dislike of reshades in ESO. I love slapping them on old Call of Duty games to make them pop, but all of the popular ESO ones I tried did way too much and ruined the image that I was so used to after the literal thousands of hours of playing without them. This one, though? I adore it. It actually enhances the image instead of changing it. It doesn't overstep and turn the image into an oversharpened artefact-y mess. Thank you for making this, I think it'll have a permanent place in my mod list.

Update: I'm running into issues with the game crashing when this is installed, and I'm not too sure what to look at to fix it.

Glad you like it not sure why it would crash though. Can you send me the reshade.log from your games folder? In the meantime there are also some things you could try. Make sure your gpu drivers are up to date and if you're using some sort of overlay try disabling it. Some people say renaming the dxgi.dll file to d3d11.dll helped but that doesn't seem to work on my system. The only other post I found was someone saying that reshade 5.1 worked best for them, so just in case here's the dxgi.dll of reshade version 5.1: download

I think the issue was caused by alt+tabbing out of the game, but using reshade 5.1 has resolved it. Thank you very much for the help, and thanks for making such nice shaders across all games!

Updated the download accordingly, using reshade 5.1 as it doesn't really matter for the simple shaders that are being used.

I had to stop by and drop a comment. A reshade as subtle and as tasteful as this one is really hard to come by. Thank you for making it!

Should I use the new reshade download and just use your preset or use your mod as is?

Thanks for the kind words, it should work fine as is, an update of reshade might break some things.

I don't know if you're still around, but this preset is basically everything I wanted. Just a very slight color improvement with an increase in sharpness. I can't stomach the colors utilized in most other presets, and this one is exactly what the doctor ordered. Beautiful.

WOW wow wow. That's all I can say. I tried all of the available reshades and sweetfx's...this is by far the best one. I play at 4k resolution and before downloading this I was impressed with the game. After downloading this, I feel like I am in the game. The textures actually appear sharper and like I'm playing at 5k or 6k resolution. I'm so surprised. This should be way higher on the list. Everyone should be downloading this. Dang man...thanks. I never have left a comment before but thank you so much for making the game so much more immersive for me. I really appreciate it.

If you excuse me, can you explain how to add DOF effect on ReShade ?
I can't play the game without dof effect.

Something like depth of field (dof) would require access to the depth buffer. We can't access it because ReShade disables it in online games - No way to add proper depth of field.

Phenomenal! Excellent reshade mod. Doesn't change a lot, but really brings out the detail and texture of things better. I noticed it made things just a little bit darker so I thought I would slightly increase the in-game gamma one or two slots, but then I played around with it more and found that making it a bit darker than what I had set it at made things even better. I orginally had the slider right in the middle, but then put it at what the game recommends, having the middle Ring barely visible. It synergized well with your reshade and made things even more eye-popping. Thank you so much for doing this and posting it here!
