Is there a way I could tweak the FP regen? wanna make it a bit slower or just disable it since constant healing plus the incantation healing is pretty powerful
Open Yapped-Rune-Bear, click on "SpEffectParam" on the left panel. Find Blessed Dew Talisman or Crimson Amber Medallion on the middle panel, click on the ones you want to change. Find "Current FP +" on the right panel, change -2 to 0 to disable FP regen, -1 to half it. There's a new version of Yapped-Rune-Bear. Which is 2.1.4. If you are using the older versions, I recommend using the latest version.
Sorry to bother you again but I still can't seem to find "Current FP +" I'm in the right spot and I picked the Crimson Amber Medallion checked all "versions" of the medallion and still nothing :(
I'm so sorry, I thought notifications are a universal thing and thought I could see every notification from any game regardless of what game page I'm roaming at that moment...
I don't play Elden Ring anymore, unfortunately, and I lost access to account where I could play Elden Ring. I won't be updating the mod anymore.
So if I read this correctly neither of these mods decrease enemy damage output, right? You just tweaked the medallions and added the chance to use spirit ashes almost anywhere correct? Early game I am mowing through everything to the point that I am not using the ashes at all. I assume that will change when I get deeper into it.
Oh come on. The game isn't that difficult to warrant a mod like this. It's tough, but not impossible. I must have fought Margit at least 7 times before i beat him at level 32 with a +1 Bloodhounds' Fang melee character. I did it solo. No NPC summon or ash summon. Plus, Margit taught me allot, like to heal during his attack combo where his locked in an animation so he cannot punish you for healing. Roll into him instead of away. Vital lessons like that.
As a former challenge runner I can clearly say all Soulsborne games deserve mods like this for the casual players. I beat DS3 without taking a single hit, did several SL1 runs, did several different loadout/cosplay runs, etc. etc. Nowadays I can't beat the goddamn Iudex Gundyr without trying several times in a row. I beat Margit at RL1 with +0 Club, without summons or spirit ashes too. Took several attempts but it was not impossible. Not everybody have the patience or time or the mindset to play this genre. Some people die a hell lot of times and just never play these gems again. Is it better this way? I don't think so.
My personal regulation.bin file only includes FP regeneration and Unlocked Spirit Summons. My main reason was this in the beginning. Just the FP regeneration. Then I thought it would be a good idea to think about the other casual players too and add a bunch of other talisman effects into a single talisman. And just for the fun, I also added Unlocked Spirit Summons mod.
I already beat this game. I deserve to have fun. Not in a masochistic way. I'm roaming the entire map with Maliketh as my summon and watch him annihilate those small enemies like Exile Soldiers or big enemies like Giant Crabs etc. And others can do this with or without beating the game too. It's their playthrough. Nobody can say a single thing about this.
I could barely get past Margit idc how good you guys are at the game, but I beat him with this, and used 2 other saves to practice the fight and then went back to vanilla and then beat him properly.
I plan on going back and playing vanilla 100% but I'd like to actually be at the very least somewhat prepared for the soul bullshi&&ery?
Yes I mean as long as you can't invade other people or do any online interactions with the mod running it's just a SP game and you aren't hurting anyone by enacting an easier mode of play.
Why do I keep getting a failed to save data, save data corrupt error? I installed anticheat and ran it and put the OP mod files in Elden rings game folder and made sure Steam was offline and started playing and I can't get past that error message?
I just uninstalled everything and even deleted my save folder from the Users folders and am reinstalling the game and mods again. Everything gets dumped into the game folder from both anti cheat toggle and the Git Gud Casul - OP folders correct? I then click on the anti cheat toggle to turn off anti cheat and then run the game (I have steam set to offline mode) That should be all the steps I need to take correct?
Can someone tell me what mistake I am making that is giving me that corrupt save error? Was I supposed to start a game of Elden ring and make 1 valid save before installing this mod and the anti-cheat mod?
So I am trying to combine this mod with another mod that has no csv files and I don't think everything is applying. I roll heavy now, health doesn't regenerate or fp, but I can still summon anywhere. I am using your csv files.
I can't say anything without seeing the regulation file, unfortunately. But you can try this: -Open 2 instances of Yapped-Rune-Bear. Open my regulation.bin file in one instance, open the other mod's regulation.bin in the other -Check out Blessed Dew Talisman or Crimson Amber Medallion in "SpEffectParam" in my mod's regulation.bin ?-(If you don't see the names: ID [Row] for Crimson Amber Medallion is 310000, ID [Row] for Blessed Dew Talisman is 350200) -Carry out everything you see in my regulation file (just for Crimson Amber Medallion or Blessed Dew Talisman) to other regulation file manually instead of importing from csv files ?-(Just check out anything that is not 0 or 1 or -1, everything I changed is either 1.2 or 5 or -6 or numbers like these)
Let me know if you have any questions or need more help.
Ok. If you want i can send the mods regulation file if that makes it easier. Cause I just tested the summon out and once hes dead he cant be called back. so its like this mod does not work at all for some reason if combined with it.
I have a request, if its possible only, could you please add to Blessed Dew Talisman every effect off every talisman in the game ? Just the default stats off every talisman in the game. I don't know if this is possible to make a mod like this, but if it is possible, then please at least consider the idea.
I don't know if it is possible to add every single effect to a single talisman. But I can try to add as much effect as possible. There's a "Condition" flag that has 2 different states. Each talisman either uses first state or the second. This might brake some things. (Some talismans use special effect ID's. Which you can't enter more than 1 ID per talisman. So you can only work with what you can work with, unfortunately.) But as I said, I can try it. Meanwhile you can try this mod. This one adds a lot of different effects to Crimson Amber Medallion.
This question is just for my knowledge only, which talismans were you unable to add ? Were you able to add Arrow's Reach Talisman, the one that increases bow effective range ?
Crucible Knot Talisman, Taker's Cameo, Crepus's Vial and Concealing Veil for example. Talismans like these have sometimes 2, sometimes 4, and sometimes even 8 different states. Each dedicated to different triggers. Taker's Cameo, for example, have 2 different states. One state is "equipped" state. Nothing happens in this state. It just waits for the trigger (which is killing an enemy in this case) to be activated. If you trigger the second state by killing an enemy, the second state becomes active and the first state becomes deactive. You'll get healed in the second state. Once this state is completed, it becomes deactiveand first state becomes active.
Talismans effects like these, that are tied to different "cycles/states", are what I can't figure out how to add to a single talisman. In theory, if can figure out how to add multiple "cycles/states" to Crimson Amber Medallion or Blessed Dew Talisman, I can add multiple special effects to them. Kill an enemy to get healed or become immune to fall damage, for example. Until then this is the best I could do.
Hello, just wanna ask how you edited the same value for multiple rows at once in yapped, since you cant select multiple rows? Did u change each row manually?

EDIT: I've gotten to the "Current FP +" part but that doesn't seem to be in the category I went and looked through them all and can't find it!

Sorry again for the inconvenience.
