General information
The mod is only tested with the current base game Version 1.16, since I do not own any DLC at the moment. The Mod should
work with the DLC's too.
This Mod changes the weather to always sunny in almost all locations. Even in the snow region, there is always sunny weather.
There is no sunny weather: There are a few areas where the weather mod has no effects (I found 2 so far, Ranni's Tower and Liurnia Tower Bridge)
WARNING: Install the Anti-Cheat Toggler from Nexus first and follow it's instructions!
Modifying your game files can lead to an Elden Ring online ban if your Anti-Cheat is not disabled!

Forever Sunshine Install
You only need to follow one of the two following installation methods, depending on which requirements you fulfill!
Install Instruction [No Mods/No DLC Version]
Use this method if you have not installed any mods or DLC's:
1. Download the Forever Sunshine file in the files section at the top and unzip it.
2. Search and open the ELDEN RING main directory where your .exe is located
(For steam by default it is in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\game).
3. Create a Backup of the original regulation.bin file.
4. Open the Forever Sunshine Install folder in the downloaded folder. Copy the regulation.bin file from the Forever Sunshine Install folder to the main directory of Elden Ring and overwrite the file.
5. Done! Enjoy the weather ;)

Install Instruction [With Mods/With DLC Version]
Use this method if you have installed any mods or/and have DLC's:
Ps.: This is a guide to manually installing the mod with Smithbox. Don't worry, it's really easy! It looks more difficult than it is, only because I explain it very detailed :-)
1. Download Smithbox from Nexus or on Github and unzip it.
2. Download the Forever Sunshine file in the files section at the top and unzip it.
3. Search and open the ELDEN RING main directory where your .exe is located
(For steam by default it is in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\game).
4. Create a Backup of the original regulation.bin file.
5. Create a new Folder anywhere you want (on your desktop or in program files for example) and name it Smithbox Output.
6. Open the downloaded Smithbox folder and search for the smithbox.exe
7. Double Click/Start it and follow the instructions below:

Uninstall Instructions:
You only need to follow one of the following uninstall methods, depending on which requirements you fulfill!
If you still have the Backup:
Simply replace the modified regulation.bin in your Elden Ring Main Directory with the backup of your original regulation.bin you created earlier.
If you have modded the regulation.bin further with other Mods after you installed the weather mod and don't want to lose them now:
Delete all files in the Smithbox Output Folder if you used Smithbox before.
From here you scroll up again and follow the same instructions as in the Install [With Mods/With DLC Version], but this time with the WeatherLotParam.csv from the Forever Sunshine Uninstall folder. This will set the changed Weather Parameters back to normal without changing anything else in the regulation.bin. The CSV in the Uninstall folder are the original Weather Parameters of the Game Version 1.16 and works with BaseGame and DLC's.
If you no longer have the backup copy(and the method described above is not an option for you) choose one of the two:
If you do not own any DLC's: Use the regulation.bin in the Uninstall Folder. The regulation.bin in the Uninstall Folder is a Backup just for the Game Version 1.16 without any DLC's, so don't use the regulation.bin in the Uninstall Folder if you own any DLC's.
If you own DLC's: Delete the regulation.bin in the Elden Ring main directory. Now go to steam, right click on Elden Ring and go to properties. Look for the "verify integrity of game files" option and click it. Steam now checks your game files and downloads all missing files automatically. So this resets your regulation.bin.
