Download mod engine then in the modengine folder go to mod and create a new folder inside with the name parts now put the file from the mod in the parts folder. Launch the game via the .bat file in modengine
For some reasone whenever me and my friend use the armor, it takes the shape of the original on your coop partner but stays as the modded varient on yourself. Really bizarre...
NPCs in-game, wither Story NPCs or invaders/Cooperators use separate files for their armors, weapons and hairstyle, all you need to do is make a copy of all the modded files and rename them. For the armor, it should look like this: 📄 am_m_1570_l.partsbnd.dcx 📄 bd_m_1570_l.partsbnd.dcx 📄 hd_m_1570_l.partsbnd.dcx 📄 lg_m_1570_l.partsbnd.dcx So basically, you add _l after the part number, it's a lower case L, not a capital i. This applies to your mimic tear spirit summon too, if you install an armor, weapon, or hairstyle mod, you have to manually add the NPC parts if they're not included in the mod, else, the game will display the default model.
You can do that yourself, just replace the armor or weapon part number with the one you want using the list id found here https://github.com/MaxTheMiracle/Dark-Souls-3-Parts-Files/blob/master/Elden%20Ring
