    Hey,

thank you very much for your work!

I took the liberty of packing your files in a mod-compatible way using a software I wrote (Gideon), and upload them as a new mod page. Hope you don't mind! Check it out! Maybe you can just use Gideon to create your own mod-compatible version; then I'll take mine down.

no by all means, that's a really cool project - i'll link to it in the description

you might want to check your settings tab icons though

(i will try gideon if i make another ui mod for er; but if your version currently works, there's no reason to duplicate effort)

Is there any chance you could do this exact mod but without changing how the buttons act? Like, the B button on the switch pad is still the A button on the xbox pad so just the UI layout changes, pretty much like the ps4 pad UI mod

here you go - it's not thoroughly tested, but it's the same as the other versions so it should be fine

Thanks for this, I'm actually using this with the 8bitdo Pro 2 in Switch mode, so this is nice to have. I do have one request, and I understand if you don't want to, or don't have the time to, but I was wondering if you could make the buttons bigger? I don't mind if they end up extending past boxes, it's just that, being terminally curious as I am, I'm playing Elden Ring on a CRT and that makes everything tiny XD

i've had a go, tell me what you think: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/6?tab=files&file_id=7480

i presumed, as you said that you didn't care about clipping, that size was more important than æsthetics; so i've taken a few design liberties in order to maximise size

i don't know what resolution you're playing in - i tested it in 1280x960, but by 800x600 it starts to look kind of wаnk

I was playing in 800x600. Unfortunately, I was using a friend's HDMI to composite adapter, which scaled to 480i on my CRT TV regardless of what resolution I ran. I gave it back when I got my own adapter, which is HDMI to component. Unfortunately, it doesn't do scaling, just converts the HDMI signal to component, and doesn't support 480i which my CRT is, so can't test this right now.

I can test it today. my friend's letting me borrow his adapter again until I can buy a different one. I'll let you know how it looks!

It looks great! I actually like the plain-letter button prompts, and they are quite easy for me to see. Thanks a bunch!
