Some crashes have been reported when used with the Camera Offset mod. Let me know if any other mods seem incompatible with this one.
FAQ How can I use this mod without being banned? ModEngine2 automatically launches offline, so you don't need to do anything special to avoid being banned while using the mod.
If you plan on going back online, the usual warning is that anything under "Browse cut content" will result in bans. If you don't own the DLC, the "DLC Items" menu should also be avoided.
This is not my own personal research, and I don't know FromSoft's internal policies, so I'm not able to look into more specific questions about how to avoid bans. If you care about playing online, please exercise extra caution with anything that seems like it would be flagged, and please do not use this comment section to speculate about ban policies. How can I use this with Seamless Co-op? Follow this guide.
Does this work with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC? Yes - DLC items are listed in a separate "DLC Items" submenu, in case you'd like to avoid item name spoilers.
Why isn't the new menu option showing up? Make sure you installed it exactly as shown in the mod description. Check that the file is in the correct folder, and config_eldenring.toml is edited exactly as described.
When I click run ModEngine2, the game doesn't start Some common problems with ModEngine2 are solved by moving the game to the C:\ drive, or running it as an administrator. I haven't personally run into these issues using ModEngine2, and won't be able to provide generic troubleshooting advice beyond this.
You can also try installing the mod with Elden Mod Loader, which I don't use but works better for some people.
Can I access the mod if I killed or aggroed Kalé? Yes, Kalé is always alive and non-hostile in the latest version of the mod, so the shop is accessible even if you killed him. If you disable the mod, Kalé will return to whatever state you left him in.
Why are weapons upgraded? Can I buy unupgraded weapons? Weapons purchased from Kalé are auto-upgraded by default to the highest level you've already acquired. So, a fresh character would get unupgraded weapons, while an endgame character who already has a +25 weapon would just get fully upgraded weapons to save time.
If you want weapons to be sold unupgraded, edit the included ermerchant.ini in Notepad, and change auto_upgrade_weapons = true to auto_upgrade_weapons = false.
Another issue is occurring (e.g. missing text or icons, items not appearing in the shop, DLC content not working, etc...) If you're using other mods, try running without any mods enabled to see which one is the issue. Many other mods haven't been updated yet for the latest patch, and this can interfere with merchant items showing up.
Would like to ask for help since I seem to not be able to run 2 dll-based mods. I'm currently using this and "Elden Ring - Quest Log" and only 1 can activate at a time. I have it set like this in the .toml file as instructed in the description page of the 2 mods:
The quest log mod is actually a fork of this mod, so it might reuse some of the same IDs or hook the same functions are the same time or something. One thing you could try is loading the mods with ME3 and adding an initialize delay to one of them
Hi, I would like to ask if it is possible to use the mod from the very beginning of the game? I did everything according to the instructions (other mods work) but no additional button appears
If I buy a boss weapon that I’ve not reached on the save yet, and then load into online after purchasing it for the character will that trigger a ban flag because of the weapon?
Maybe a niche use case, but would it be possible to not remove Kale's normal shop page when using this mod? A lot of mods use weird IDs for their stuff that don't show up in GM, and since most of those sell their stuff at Kale it'd be nice to get it from him straight away rather than temporarily disable the mod or grab his bell bearing and hoof it over to the Roundtable Hold.
Regardless, this mod is great and thanks for making it!
Thanks for the suggestion, is there a particular mod that isn't showing up? Ideally everything would just work, although it wouldn't be hard to support what you suggested if that's not possible
That's a hard list to fully nail down as I've screwed around with a lot of mods. I believe one or two weapons from Clever's Moveset Modpack don't show up. A lot of the smaller mods like other Moveset packs either don't show up at all or only a select few show up.
The big ones like Convergence and Reforged aren't really missing anything from what I've seen.
I'm no modder, but I think it has to do with where in the regulation file the entries for the new items and/or their shop locations are put.
Sorry I don't have further specifics atm. It's tricky to nail down from memory. If it would help to go digging and find you some more specific examples, I can.
The Game does not start when i launch the .bat. A CMD Windows opens for a 1sec and closes again. Can't read what it says. Can't even find anything how to fix this. Any help?
No idea how to upload screenshots here. I don't have a "Logs" Folder in Mod Engine. I did everything as stated i even followed your Videos how to do it and the Game just won't start through the .bat File. No other mods installed and bought Elden Ring on Steam. Game is in C Drive i put the whole Engine Folder inside the Game, dosen't work, on Desktop, dosen't work. Don't know what else to do here.
Hello! Thank you for creating such an excellent mod. However, I have a few questions regarding its usage.
In addition to this mod, I’m also using the “Map for Goblins” mod. Before using your mod, I made sure to clear all pick-up items from the map.
However, after purchasing some items through your mod (around four or five, such as Golden Centipede, Land Octopus Ovary, Gold-Tinged Excrement, etc.), I noticed that some items which had already been picked up on the map have respawned—I was able to pick them up again. Is this intended behavior, or is it possibly a bug? And if I pick up the respawned items again, will it cause any problems?
Thanks. Unique items like map fragments are usually set by the game to not spawn if you already picked them up, but crafting materials don't have this restriction so you should be fine
Thank you very much for your response. I'm relieved to know that there shouldn't be any issues. That said, I’m still quite curious — would this be classified as a bug, a side effect, or is there another explanation? Additionally, would it be possible to correct or address this issue?

Tried a few edits like having the other .dll file first and it seem to swap which mod activates. Hope someone can help. Thank you!
