EZ Auto Backup without all the unnecessary bloat. Thank you!

If I could make one request, could we get an option to use a more compact, almost "minimized" UI, that only includes the Backups/Screenshots associated with them? So that we can very quickly tab out/in, with a very small window that doesn't take up a lot of space?

In EZAB, we can tab out, quickly navigate to the desired save with arrow keys, and double click Enter in order to rapidly get into a new save. If this had that functionality, it would be absolutely perfect. :)

As long as you're on Windows, using a Steam copy of the game, and selected Elden Ring on the game entry, you should be getting screenshots.

I think I am all set. Maybe that happens because I use a different extension on my save file?

The file/folder selected to backup shouldn't make a difference. Do you have any errors in AppData\Roaming\Scum Bag\logs.txt?

Yeah that all looks pretty normal. I'll do some debugging tomorrow and see what I can find out. I'll also add some more screenshot related logging in the next release to see if that helps get to the bottom of things.

Hello. i just wanted to say that now, for some reason, I have the screenshots! before, I did not had them along with the saves, but they are there now and they are showing up in the app window!

The only thing I changed was on Windows itself, I opted OUT of the test updates because I had another issue with my alt tabbing the game. For some reason, when I did alt+tab, the cursor of the chosen window would move backwards. After leaving the beta updates it worked as normal again and now I have the screenshots of my deaths lol Win10, btw. Thanks!

How do you use it on Arch Linux?

Steam should be installed at the path "~/.steam/steam". Screenshots won't work on Linux though.

      pacman -Sy && pacman -S gtk4 webkit2gtk wget unzip

      wget https://github.com/rthomasv3/Scum-Bag/releases/download/v1.1.0/Scum_Bag_linux-x64.zip

      unzip Scum_Bag_linux-x64.zip

      chmod +x Scum\ Bag

      ./Scum\ Bag

Is it compatible with seamless? I don't want to find out the hard way by corrupting it.

This program just makes backups of your save files and restores them - it doesn't alter the files in any way. If you can copy and paste your files manually with seamless and things work, then yes, this will also work.

Sweet as, thanks for the reply.
edit: Is there no way to change its default save backup location? I like to change it to my onedrive if there is any way to change it.

No way to change the backup location right now, but I'm looking at adding that in a future release

Thank you for the response. I didn't think there was any way to change it currently, thank you for confirming it. But looking forward to the future release with it.

Does this require your Steam library to be on the C Drive?
    Mine is stored on D.

saves are always stored in %appdata% on C: regardless of where the actual game is installed (I've got it on D: myself as well).

It should work with any number of libraries in any/all locations. Steam stores all of that info and the code reads those configs to find all the games. Another user said he had 10 Steam libraries all on different physical drives with about 600 games installed, and it was apparently working for him.
