It has something to do with the tae files in c0000.anibnd, if you replace that file with the one from carian combo warriors enhanced the dodge light and the 2handed heavy work, but it messes with all of the animations from elden vins that are in the same anibnd. I tried switching out the 25th tae that's supposed to be the great sword move set, but it didn't work because the dodge light and 2h heavy are in a different tae.
You can use cheat engine to view which animation is being called whenever you do a specific move but I'm having a hard time deciphering what tae it's pointing to because it gives something like 25027300 instead of the actual tae number and I don't know if that's saying it's calling tae's 25, 27, and 300 or something else entirely.
A lot of mod authors actually show you the TAE files that they altered in their mod so that it's easier to merge, but carrian combo warriors and elden vins both don't, so unless you can find that list somewhere it's going to be really hard and tedious to merge the animations properly.
If you do find the lists of changed tae files for carian combo warriors enhanced and elden vins, please share them.
Addendum: Currently seeing if using the chr file from "Elden Vins Merges (Carian combo Clever's and Mckenyu's addon)"'s carian combo addon works without breaking anything. I replaced the chr file for this mod with that mod and so far the greatsword, dagger, spell animations seem to be working. I'll try a full playthough to see if it messes with any of the enemy animations from convergence.
Addendum2: only issue so far seems to be the vortex move for katana that you trigger with a charged heavy during the crest symbol flash after the parry seems to be broken, it triggers too early while the character winds back their arm so the vortex doesn't deliver it's full damage.

also im having issues with the greatswords moveset, it keeps locking me in certain animations, is this a known issue or something im messing up?
