Great mod that I didn't know I needed, question how did you get the scarf to be lowered and not wrapped around your character's head and can it be done with helmets?

the technical answer is that the larger scarf mesh is marked as mask 34, and any armour that also ticks mask 34 will hide any mesh with that flag. if you wanna, you can just open up DSMapStudio and tick mask 34 for any armour pieces that you want to hide the larger scarf. i personally just modified the page's hood to tick that flag, and hid its model as well, so it looks like it's hidden on its own.

there's a few headpieces that tick that model mask by default, like Radahn's helmet for example. but i don't have an exhaustive list, sorry.

i should be able to just delete the larger scarf mesh and adjust the model mask so that the smaller scarf always shows, and isn't mask dependant, but i thought that was outside the scope of this mod, so it never came up then.

Hi, my friend, i just tried to do exactly what you described erlier - to tick mask 34 for exile armor and it worked but the result isn't as good as you have on your photos - it doesn't make scarf lower it just makes it invisible, can you please tell me how to make it right?

Hey! I've been really loving your armor mods, it's genuinely difficult to find any that don't resort to just making armor into a bikini
(No judgement to those who do)
One of the armor sets I'd love for someone to touch up on the Vulgar Militia set, being able to get a very clean / polished version of that armor would be genuinely incredible. Bless!

thanks! what exactly did you have in mind for cleaning up the vulgar militia set? right now modifying the mesh of anything with cloth physics is off the table, since doing so breaks the cloth physics.

there should be a fix for that, but it involves redoing the cloth physics and i currently don't have the experience or the programs setup to do that, so anything in that realm is for down the line and not within my skill set now. just preemptively mentioning that since stuff like cleaning up the torn up skirt part of the coat wouldn't be doable outside of texture edits.

Looking at the set, it seems like there's supposed to be a chainmail mesh underneath the ripped leather in the torso? It makes me think that more of the set used to have chainmail, but lost it over time due to wear and tear. I was also thinking that the gloves would feel better being fingerless / gloveless, since there's not a lot of options for bracers / fingerless gloves. I think the ripped part of the skirt could use with a texture change - Maybe remove the ripped / torn look? Make it look like a deliberate separation in the skirt. Ultimately it's up to you! I would love to see your interpretation!

I completely understand! There's absolutely no rush, and no matter how long it takes before the idea comes to reality, I will absolutely be waiting!

i've taken a gander and it seems like there's not much that i know how to do aside from patch up the holes in the torso. the skirt part i can't touch cause of the cloth physics, and i don't think texture edits alone will do much, unless you wanna just trim it all to be equally short.

if i ever get around to figuring out how to do custom cloth physics, maybe i'll take a look at this again. but for now, there's not much i can do within my current skill level, sorry.

i looked up sliders for various people’s takes on asian looking characters, and used them as reference and also maybe one of them as a base, then adjusted it from there. i don’t remember which one it was though, sorry

Looks so good. I love your mods, but I have only gotten one of them, cause I don't feel like editing the regulation bin, so this being regulation-bin-less is awesome.

yeah i try to avoid regulation.bin edits, but for some ideas it’s just not an option. glad you liked this though!

Looks clean and pristine! It would be swell if the game officially had repaired versions of tattered armor pieces. Furthermore, repaired armor should slightly increase weight and increase damage negation, which would be just the opposite of altered armor pieces which have reduced weight and reduced damage negation.

totally doable! but i wanted to avoid regulation.bin edits and keep the mod as separate as possible

Great work! Honestly, it's been sad to see this beutyful armor with thorns and briars. If you interested in other armor modifications - can you make Zamor armor with second shoulder guard and Mausoleum Knight hussar wings? It will be great choice for death knight or necromancer.

    P.S.Sorry for my bad english...

that might be doable, though i'm not too sure on how all the cloth physics will work, nor am i confident in my skills to do that atm. i'll add it to the list anyways, since a good challenge is a learning opportunity. but no promises though, in case it ends up being beyond my abilities.
