Thank you for creating this cool looking set. Question is how do you change back to the original Knight set? I tried deleting the .dcx files of this Mod thinking the modded set would change back to the original knight set but instead I get an invisible knight armor. Please assist.
Hey i know this is gonna be a stupid question, but i still need to ask
Ive never installed any mods for elden ring..would a texture swap like this get me banned from online play?
I got banned from DS3 for using a mod to change the knight armor to the fluted knights set, which is why i ask.
So would using this mod be a bannable offense? I just love the fluted knight set so much and wish they would put it o In all their games, but i play online with friends alot.
Unfortunately, the normals appear to be broken. You either need to flip y on the normal map green channel, or the smoothing of the mesh was broken in the porting process (may not be easily fixed). Please DM me if you want more details because I'd love to see this fixed.
Been waiting for this set for a VERY long time and I'm glad we got such a good port over to Elden Ring. That being said, it's not a perfect port but that's what constructive criticism is for. I don't blame you for just wanting to port this set over into Elden Ring, but there are ways to make the entire set so much better.
For one, the set's coloring is WAY too saturated. Elden Ring is a very muted game with a lot of dark, murky colors. The Fluted Set, on the other hand, is bright, polished, and stands out like a sore thumb. Even compared to other bright armors like the Knight Set or the Royal Knight Set, the Fluted Set looks almost too clean. Toning down the saturation of the colors to make it match Elden Ring's color composition would go a long way.
The second issue is that the render looks very low-res even compared to Elden Ring. It stands out particularly when wearing it with other armors. I don't know how to describe it, but wearing the Fluted Set with other set makes the Fluted Set stand out more than it should, especially because of the aforementioned color saturation.
Other than that, it's a great set. Maybe you can try darkening the visible portions of the helmet so we can't see our character's face, but that's a personal issue and not something to be held against this mod, especially since its so new
I appreciate the feedback, but my goal when porting armor is not to make it fit in with Elden Ring, it's to put the artist's original intent into the game as closely as I can get it. I'm using the original textures from Demon's Souls Remake. Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately I have no interest in addressing it as it does not align with my goals.
Please, pretty please, I am begging you, if you would consider porting the Dragon Bone Smasher from the Demon's Souls remake to compliment this mod. That would really make my day.
Thank you for porting the fluted set, it looks incredible!
