A PvP overhaul mod meant to showcase balance suggestions. After all, what better way to convince someone than to let them try it themselves.

After Elden Ring's patch 1.10, it has become more clear than ever that FromSoftware is listening to player feedback.
Several pvp enthusiasts came together to make 2 YouTube videos packed full of feedback on longstanding issues.

Part 1 focuses on system issues: Artificial barriers to multiplayer, 4 player limit, missing covenants, no solo-host invasions, no incentives to pvp, disappointing arena, lack of quality-of-life features
Part 2 focuses on the combat itself: hyper armor and poise damage, power stance damage, auto-tracking of attacks, attack recovery, crouch attacks, hit priority, etc.

This mod accompanies the second part, giving everyone a chance to just try it themselves instead of having to take someone's word for it.
Additionally, the mod offers 5 new maps from DEN MAPS as well as several quality-of-life features so players can get their pvp characters ready in mere minutes and have a nice spot to try out the gameplay changes.

Installation:
1. Manually download the files from the files tab.
2. Unzip 
3. Double click the "Play Mod" bat file.

Seamless will automatically be downloaded and set up for you. Seamless allows you to play the mod with others.

Patch Notes


Hyperarmor and poise changes
  • Increased the poise damage of heavy weapons normal attacks
  • Increased the poise damage of combo chain follow up attacks for all heavy and colossal weapons
  • Decreased the start up of HA across the board for both normal attacks and ashes of war
  • Decreased the innate poise of hammers and flails
  • Removed the HA frames from the combo chain follow up attacks of the Club
  • Decreased the poise damage of the second follow up attacks of powerstance weapons that attack at the same time
  • Decreased the poise damage of the thrusting sword offhand second hit
  • Gave the Scythe special HA to all heavy weapons neutral and running powerstance attacks
  • Increased the poise damage of heavy and colossal weapons powerstance attackspoise
  • Increased the poise damage of the Hammers, Flails, and Daggers initial hits of powerstanced running and first L1
  • Reduced the strength of Barberic Roar and Warcry special heavy attacks on light weapons

Damage changes

decreased the damage of powerstance (PS) attacks that attack at the same time for light weapons only that ranges from 15-25% 

  • 20% damage reduction for PS Straight Swords
  • 25% damage reduction for PS Spears
  • 20% damage reduction for PS Katana Crouch L1 + Jump L1
  • 15% damage reduction for PS Curved Swords
  • 20% damage reduction for PS Greatspears Crouch L1
  • 20% damage reduction for 2-handed Fists R2
  • 20% damage reduction for 2-handed Claws R2

Tracking changes
  • Decreased the tracking of neutral attacks towards hitbox but buffed them at their earlier frames
  • Increased tracking of running attacks but nerfed them towards the hitbox
  • Decreased the tracking of rolling and crouch attacks towards the hitbox, but made direction changes easier (turn and burn)
  • Buffed heavy attacks tracking

Recovery changes 
  • Improved heavy attack recovery cancel to match light attack cancel
  • improved fast ash of war and item cancel
  • improved movement recovery for crouch, block, and regular movement
  • Nerfed roll recovery
  • Made the stun recovery cancel into attacking slower so that mashing is a little hard to give players full priority
  • Improved the recovery of backsteps without changing the roll recovery by separating the recovery cancel of backsteps and rolls

Ash of war changes
  • Improved the tracking of the Bloodhound Finesse weapon skill
  • Improved the recovery of the Stamp sweep and uppercut
  • Gave the Square-off heavy attack Hyper Armor
  • Decreased the poise damage of the spinning slash's second hit on twinblade and light weapons spinslash

General
  • Made entering crouch cost a small amount of stamina
 

Quality of life

A few quality of life features were implemented to make testing more enjoyable.
Most of these unlock after the tutorial boss (the spider thing)
  • New characters gain enough runes to level to 125 (auto equip sacrificial twig at start)
  • After the tutorial the following unlocks early:
          - max flask amount and upgrade level
  - Flask of Wonderous Physick
  - Crafting Kit
  - Can immediatly warp to Roundtable Hold
  • The following new optons are unlocked at any site of grace:
  - Grand Merchant shop (itesms, spells, gestures, ... )
  - Infinite Respec
  • Weapons from Grand Merchant are max upgrade level
  • DEN MAPS integration:
  - 5 beautiful arena locations you can warp to from Roundtable Hold
  - Braid of Marika - toggle on/off auto revive on death
  - Regressive Grease - quick on demand full heal
  - O'Jar of Plenty - toggle on/off infinite usage of goods
 

Tips

1. Be sure to use your seamless items if you want to play with others
  •    Tiny Great Pot - Open your world to others
  •    Effigy of Malenia - Join someone else's world
  •    Judicater's Rulebook - Make phantoms hostile so you can pvp.
2. Changing affinity requires whetstones, don't forget to buy them from the shop!
