Curious, does anyone have this working on the Steam Deck by chance?
I've attempted w/ this fork of ModEngine2 w/ no luck: Cloudef/ModEngine2
Edit:
Never mind. Got this working on Steam Deck. I simply changed the name of eldenring_config.toml in the latest release to modeengine.toml, along w/ following the rest of the instructions linked on this mod. Not sure if I had the path wrong before due to messing w/ the mod list, or what. On that note, I didn't have to modify anything minus the rename, i.e., mod list is unchanged in the final toml for my use case.
Further, I got it working with er-patcher instead of Remove Black Bars. Both work, I'd rather just not have to worry about also toggling Easy Anti-Cheat on/off separately, plus the ability to modify some of the options via launch command is nice.
Edit: Better launch command. Also note I needed this [lazy] hack for er-patcher on Steam Deck: 38398ae I'll test further and submit a more common sense fix or proper issue eventually, but for now I'm playing ER. :)
The guide is appreciated but to be clear on what you need to do here for others, especially noobs to Elden Ring modding and Github faffing: The version of Mod Engine is different than the one the uploader posted in the description (note the author difference in the URL). You may miss the fact it's a fork due to the cursory mention of it in strikethrough.
So click the link Anthony has put here for Mod Engine, not the one in the description, then download it, extract it and make sure to put the the files in the bin folder in your Elden Ring "mods" folder (not mod).
You may need to rename the file as stated here too, but noting that I think Modeengine.toml is a typo (only one E). I'm a little unclear on this anyway because the fork page doesn't say where that file is even supposed to come from (I just copied the whole extracted Mod Engine fork over to elden ring\game, then renamed that bit and copied the aforementioned files to the right places), but it's working for me.
Finally, you do need the launch argument stated on that page, just as a reminder. This will then inject into the game automatically and you can launch Elden Ring as normal without a special executable. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction. Hope this helps people and I can likewise confirm Remove Black Bars works as it should for people who want to keep it simple without messing with ER patcher, which seems like more of a headache.
hey I saw ur GoW vram requirement bypass mod and and was wondering if you can you do the same mod too for Monster Hunter Wilds PC beta? it required more vram to work so maybe a 8GB or 10GB version perhaps, with spoof on gtx 1660 super info.
How to change the screen resolution and switch to borderless window correctly? The default screen resolution is 800x480. When I click to change the screen resolution or switch to windowed mode, the game crashes. To restore the required resolution, I have to manually change the settings in the config file located at "C:\Users\mukht\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing\GraphicsConfig.xml".
Hi! For some reason mod doesnt work for me, followed the instruction, opened mod engine LAUNCHER, and then the Elden ring.bat . But nothing changed, and therefore cannot find the solution anywhere
*UPDATE* Seems like my game version is 1.14. And the mod should work with 1.12 as listed in the description :c

I updated Map For Goblins to latest version: 1.14
Have fun
Can you guide me how do I edit the ratio with map for goblins expanded?
I know the basics with Smithbox.

e.g.,
mods = [
{ enabled = true, name = "default", path = "mod" }
]

My launch command is:
python er-patcher -r 30 -uvca -- env WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8.dll=n,b" %command%

- Downloaded UI fix, mod loader and mod engine 2
- Put "menu" folder, lua.dll and modengine2.dll in Game/mod
- Put dinput8.dll and modengine2.toml in Game folder
Command for er-patcherpython er-patcher -s -uvca -- env WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8.dll=n,b" %command%
